    1. Hello!! I'm relatively new to collecting bjds but I'm not new to bjds in general! I think they're gorgeous but trying to get myself to actually allow myself to spend that much money to collect them was pretty hard ngl! My best friend got her first bjd last year and I decided it was time for myself as well!

      I'm not well versed in which dolls are from which collections or where to buy them since I spent so long trying to avoid temptation but I'd really like to learn more and make friends here!

    2. Hello and welcome! There are many of us here who have spent a long time looking before ever committing, I think it's a pretty common experience. This BJD Collectasy's company/dealer list is quite long and thorough for where to buy - although it can be a bit overwhelming as there are so many dollmakers these days! Do you have any idea what kind of a doll you're looking for?

    4. Welcome!

      When I got started in the hobby, before I got my first doll, I would check out various doll discussion threads on here -- they really helped a lot! On here the subforums are sorted by size and then the threads are by company. Over time there were some I found I preferred over others and that helped me a lot in picking out my first doll. Maybe something similar would help?

      Waiting rooms are also a good place to look to learn more about a company too :)
