Hi! It's great to finally be here!

Hi! I'm Gwendragon and I'm looking forward to being a member of DOA - I've found it a great resource for years, but there's so much more available to members.

I started off collecting fashion dolls (still do to be honest), and in my mind it was a natural graduation as a collector to move onto BJDs as well. In 2022 I got my first BJD, a secondhand Bambicrony Ciao Bella Lotti. Three years later I now have 12 BJDs, with my latest being the incomparable Volks Lady Oscar.

Oscar is an exception though because I don't usually go for fullsets. My favourite thing is creating and customising outfits, like Lotti's steampunk pirate costume - I made her wig, belt, trousers and waistcoat, and salvaged the rest from off-topic dolls.

Thank you! It was so much fun getting together all the little embellishments, that since then I have to do it for all my dolls. Even Oscar - she'll stay in her fullset but I'm looking for a rose-shaped pin or pendant for her to wear!
