Hi from Northern CA <3

Hello all, I’m Annette. I have yet to purchase my first resin BJD; I have a nice collection of wigged, inset eyes Ellowyne Wilde and other 16” Tonner dolls and a couple of Delilah Noir, but I’ve been reading up on BJDs and I think my next doll purchase will be it, I’m gonna make the plunge.

I’m especially looking at the ResinSoul Ke doll; she’s a 1/3 60cm beauty. Initially I was looking at 1/4 MSD dolls as I have a lot of Ellowyne clothing that would fit them (Minifee especially, their measurements are similar to Ellowyne for clothes and wigs), but Ke’s face sculpt has just stolen my heart . I’m not sure if I should get her from the company website or DDE (I’ve looked at both); if anyone has feedback to share I would love to learn. Also what do you think of ResinSoul factory face ups? I was leaning towards getting a blank and finding a faceup artist with an aesthetic that appeals to me. Do buyers usually get the factory faceup or no? (for ResinSoul)

I love to knit for my dolls, and look forward to sharing pictures of the pieces I’ve created. Although if I get Ke I will have to knit new pieces to show off, as everything I’ve knit so far is for MSD size. The nice thing about doll clothes is that it knits up pretty quickly.
