    1. Hii, i've been into bjds for 12 or so years but only was able to afford one recently. I bought a Ring Doll Luna in September and shes currently on a boat somewhere but i am very excited to see her. i just got the blank doll as one of my motivations for getting into the hobby was learning how to do face ups and sewing clothes for the dolls, I've already started on a Christmas dress for her though she will likely not come until after Christmas. I joined the forum cos i wanted to look at everyone's dolls and read their backstories, it is fun.

    3. Welcome, fellow Australian! Congrats on receiving your first doll, I hope she makes it home safe and sound. That's great that you're getting a dress and crafts ready for your doll - this hobby is very stimulating for the crafts. (I also learned to paint faceups, and am currently learning how to sew just for my dolls, haha.) You'll find lots of inspiration and crafting/faceup help here in these forums.
