    1. Long time lurker, and even longer admirer of the hobby. I'm just now crawling out of the woodwork to be more social and actually interact with folks!

      I'm just a casual collector, and hopefully once I get my dolls in a more presentable way (goodness I need to get over my fear of doing face ups and actually do them) I'll most likely never hush about them and have so many photos to share.

      ATM my favorite sculpts/marker is easily Doll Chateau. I love the more unnatural look, but I'm always on the lookout for more monstrous or unnaturally beautiful ones as well!

      Hope everyone is doing well, and cannot wait to be a more active member of this lovely community!

    3. Thankies! Honestly I feel I should have crawled out of the woodwork sooner but y'know, nervous. But hey, new year so time to face those fears!

      Right now, as far as Doll Chateau goes, I have Snowborn (centaur) and an Alan Elf head on K-body. Both I adore and have Their characters all figured out. Now comes the hard part of face ups and sewing! I cannot wait to get them done and their character profiles going!

    4. Doll Chateau is so gorgeous. Definitely one of my favorite brands.

      I was a bit nervous about doing face ups too. It's kind of intimidating with how expensive the dolls are! I bought a cheaper brand head by itself to practice on and that helped my confidence a lot. Might be worth giving it a try! Plus if you don't like what you've done and you haven't sealed it in yet you can always remove it. :)
