HEY! UK Tiny BJD enthusiast

Sep 6, 2024

    1. Hey, hope you're well.

I'm a long-time BJD enthusiast (since I was 14 when I first came across the hobby on YT). Before BJD's I collected Pullips and quickly found Pukifees and fell in love. I bought my first tiny BJD from Denver Doll and she was a Pukifee KAKA. Whilst I really loved her movements and the fairyland resin, I struggled to connect with her and have recently let her go to a new home.

I am currently awaiting a Pukifee Mio in Natural skin and plan to send her off to Bunny for a faceup.

I have just recently joined DOA because I think its hard to share such a specific hobby to anyone that's not within the community and I would love nothing more that to form friendships centred around BJD's. I'm in my early 20's and I don't bite :) so if you wanted, I'd love nothing more than a little message.

      xo

    4. Hello from Surrey! I think waiting for a new doll is the worst part! It’s so exciting but it feels sooooo loooong.

Pukifees are so cute! Please share photos when you get her. I find tiny dolls can be hard to connect with since they’re more limited but the hobby is so big that there’s always something new and exciting! I mostly collect yosd and msd sizes. I’m currently waiting for the new Dream Valley Chimera.

    6. Hi from down near the south coast.

Tiny dolls aren't my jam personally, but that's the beauty of this hobby in that there's dolls of all different types for all different people.

    7. Tiny dolls are so cute! I have a Lati white and he is just precious. He’s very old, so I have been in the process of fixing him up a little. I have to super resist all the tiny dolls, or I would be buried in them.

    8. It is!!! but it’s also really nice to have another thing to look forward to .

    9. Hey! I plan on taking photos and sharing her cute face. I just looked up Chimera and the sculpt looks so class. I do love the MSD size and have a few sculpts I could seriously order, but I think right now the Tiny’s have my heart!

    10. Hey - Awk thank you! <3

    12. I started off with yosd and gradually worked up to MSD. I have a SD doll that I share with my husband but she’s a bit too big for me so I keep her say on a shelf to look pretty lol. MSD is my preferred size and I have quite a few in my collection. What I’m lacking is stands to display them. -.- My whole collection is pretty much fantasy dolls since they have such a unique appeal and if they have fantasy legs I don’t need to buy them shoes. Lol.

I can’t wait to see photos!

    13. Hello and welcome to Den of Angels! I'm sure you'll find lots of friends here to talk all things doll related and hopefully be able to participate in a local dolly meet-up soon. :celebrate
