Help required with Slim MSD measurements

    1. Hello
      I am making a mini length gathered skirt for a slim MSD. It is for a craft swap and I don't actually have a slim MSD.
      I'm finding it really hard to work from the measurements alone.
      Does anyone have fabric measurements for a short elasticated gathered skirt (for slim MSD) or could point in the direction where I could find them?

Yeah, since slim MSD varies a bit even within the slim msd category, i’d try and see if you can find out what kind of doll you’re seeing for, and then looking up the measurements or patterns. since it’s just a gathered skirt there’s a lot of simple patterns in the workshop. otherwise i’d pick a popular slim MSD body and sew for that.. since it’s elastic, it should fit at least a couple different companies even if you pick say a Minifee or a Kid Delf or a Model Delf, since I know my Minifee skirts fit my Resinsoul MSD pretty well in the waist.

      i had a thought too, maybe even a drawstring skirt too would be interesting, so that it could fit even more of a variety of waists? :lol:

    4. Than you both. I've been given Mini fee measurements to work from, but the person who owns the dolls has several different brands.
      I have made a gathered skirt but then added velcro lengthwise on the waist band so it is adjustable.
      Drawstring waist is a good idea too.
