Hello! I've been going through my closet and organizing, and would like to have any outfits with names laabeled, but I have two suits I got secondhand that I can't seem to identify. Please help! First up is for sure DollHeart and SD13 boy size. It is a pinstripe suit that includes a jacket, pants, shirt and cape/cloak. I think it's supposed to also have a top hat and neck ruffle, but I never had those pieces. I have found a pic of it on DollHeart Thailand, but the listing is only for the cane and the model is wearing the suit, which isn't listed. Google image search isn't giving me any accurate results. The second....I don't even know where to start! I think it might be DollHeart, as the chains hook similarly, but it has no tags, so I'm unsure. The quality/style is also similar to Volks, or mayyybe Sadol? I think it's for SD17, or at least a bit taller than SD13. Very high quality, it's black velvet, and includes the jacket, pants, shirt and scarf. I don't know if it's supposed to have any other pieces. The shirt is a very thin gauzy fabric and snaps up the front. The pants, unlike many doll pants, do not have a "pants snap" or button, just a basic sew on snap, which makes me think it's not Sadol. The jacket is fully lined with a satin fabric, and only closes with the chain hooking over a button. Thanks to anyone who can help!
Gentlemanship Dolk jp is a good site for id:ing stuff, as they keep a good archive. As for the second outfit since Dollhearts usually has tags on their main pieces, it seems unlikely to be from Dollhearts. The inner shirt doesn't strike me as Dollhearts either.
Thank you so much!! That’s definitely it! and the second, I agree. No tags and while some parts are similar, others aren’t. As I got it secondhand, I’m not really sure if the shirt is an original piece or not, but the quality seems the same? Could it maybe be Volks? Or possibly Luts? Anybody know?
I don't know either suit maker for sure, but I agree that I've never seen an untagged dollhearts piece. Souldoll also made high quality outfits with overcoats and shirts that make me think they could be another maker for the maybe pool. Souldoll did sometimes utilize lovely raw edges like on that white shirt. If it was souldoll they have the zenith size which is about 68cm tall (I used to have one myself). Good luck! I'll be curious to see if someone can ID them correctly.
I hadn't thought about Souldoll, but I don't think it is? To be more sure of the size, I put it on Bren, who is on the Luts Senior Delf body that is 62cm and wears SD13 clothing. The pants fit, but are a bit loose and too long. (Excuse his weird colored foot, his actual foot is with an artist resin matching a head for him. ) The shirt and jacket technically fit, but are a bit of a sloppy fit and the sleeves are too long. So this makes me think it is SD17 size. I don't think it's big enough to fit a 68cm doll, but the old 60cm SoulDoll boy is smaller than Bren (I own one!) and it would be way too big. Other things to note about it- the sleeve cuffs of the shirt are elastic, not buttoned. The snaps on the shirt and pants are all plastic. The jacket closes with hook and eyes and the single chain loop. All of the gold buttons on the jacket are decorative and nonfunctional. Hoping this might help somebody identify it!
Could it be an old Endless or M3 Studio outfit? The style reminds me of clothes they use to do back in the 2010's era.
Ohhh, I totally forgot all about M3 Studio! I loved them back in the day. I'm not familiar with Endless, but I'll look into both and see if I have any luck.
