Hi everyone! I am happy to report that Sahit is on topic for DoA!

 

Exciting! Thank you! With that I can happily say that I paid my deposit on one. I am very excited!

 

I paid mine off earlier this week! So now I'm just waiting for her to ship and get to me and I'm so excited I fell in love with Sahit immediately when she was first posted on insta last year and have been obsessively waiting to get one since.

What's everyone's plans for theirs, and what color did you get? Mine will be loosely based on my Skyrim Argonian, and she's in a grey/blue color. Don't know exactly how I'm gonna paint her yet, but I got time. She and my Rumpeldoll Abby will be adventurers together, and I'm looking forward to making them their gear.

I hope more people will post their Sahit when they get them! She's just too dang cool

 

Clothing wise, I was planning on attempting to make some light armor and maybe looser fitting fantasy based clothing. Not fully sure yet, but I want to not cover up too much of her body or hinder her posing too much so it's definitely going to be tricky. She's gonna be a challenge for sure!

Ohh yes, I saw her and thought she'd make a great companion to Sahit! It'll be super cool to see your two together. And I love the idea of a fae court. That will be really fun to collect for. I'm debating eventually one of the small Bardo Research girls as another companion to my little band of adventurers as they're also in the size range.

What color did you pick? I love that she offers almost anything you could want!

Also what heads did everyone pick? I'm getting both open and closed mouths, though that open one is my fave

 

Can’t afford to do it right now bit really want to see some of these painted & finished. It’s such an awesome sculpt! We need more lizard people!

 

@captnklaus, I paid for the doll in June and choose with two heads and two horns. At the moment, I've no ideas on clothes and weapons for her. This is a trial casting of part of my doll:

I've got an update on my girl finally. She's been shipped! No idea how long it'll take for her to get here but I'm so excited

 

@captnklaus could you tell me please when did you make an order? 'cos I made my first payment in March and yet have no info about terms of completion... this made me a little bit mad of all the situation

 

It seems strange for me, 'cause the terms say that the final payment I should do after the doll's completion right to have the doll been sent to me. There's no layaway in my order and I've asked about final payment three times yet. Still strange for me.

 

I offered to pay in full from the start, but the artist seemed more comfortable just taking a deposit at first, not the full amount. They told me they had a large backlog to get through, so I expect they are approaching orders in a queue system, yeah.

 

Colours, clothes and background was re-think several times during waiting of official order opening . I'm in love with this beauty from the Moscow Doll Salon 2018, where I saw her prototype.
So, I see that 5 months of waiting (instead 1 as was declared) is considering normal... But if @captnklaus could tell me the date of his order I'll be sincerely grateful .

 

I went back through my emails to get some dates for you @Foxxx and I had initially emailed her about buying Sahit back in May. Nors got back to me after a month in June, as she was really busy casting and preparing for Dollscar. After some discussion, I put the first payment down late June and finished my layaway at the end of July. And Nors shipped my Sahit a couple days ago. So all in all it took about 4 months!

But the Sahit I bought from her was one she had prepared for Dollscar, so it was already casted. I chose to go with that instead of a custom casted version as she said it could take up to 6 more months. Since she already had one in a color similar to what I wanted, I decided to be impatient and have less of a wait

Through my emails with Nors I can say that she can go quiet for a bit and it is frustrating. But! She always will reply in time. As said above, she's just one person working and casting these dolls herself so she is very busy with orders and events. So some patience is required.She mentioned when she shipped my Sahit that she will be away traveling for a bit, though she didn't say how long. Hopefully everyone waiting will hear back soon!

This is all not about patience at all, but only about organization and customer information from the artist.

I did have slow communication when I initially spoke to them, but I haven’t tried since. I hope they respond to you soon...

 

Hello everyone. I managed to contact a member of the author’s family. According to him, the author is busy making orders almost around the clock. According to him, at the moment 6 dolls have been sent: 2 of them in Russia and 4 go to other countries.
Photos of dolls were sent to me but I'm not sure I have the right to show them here without the permission of their owners.

 

Now i have much more complicated feelings... Three days after my order (after i made the first payment) the author answered in "VKontakte" (it's a russian equivalent of Facebook) that "they have made 5 preorders". So i think i should be in this 5 preorders. If they sent 6 dolls at the moment as it is said above - my order should be among them. But no one contact me, nor about the final payment nor about adress for shipping.
All the dolls that i can find in internet arrived to the owners now are two dolls that were made for Dollskar, they were completely ready at 15th June.
PS: mine is grey with green shimmer

 

@ronnie92 Hmm, that is worrying. I saw their instagram apology, where they offered refunds. I didn't take the offer yet but I'm starting to wonder if maybe I should. Have you emailed them back since then?

I wasn't very precious about colour, so honestly I probably wouldn't mind just waiting until they have some stock to sell. I'll think on it a bit further before making a decision though.

 

I hope they figure everything out. She's beautiful and I'd love to shell my Elder Scrolls online character with her :'(

 

It sounds like she didn't realize how difficult and overwhelming filling these orders herself would be, which is definitely disheartening to hear. I hope everyone waiting gets answers soon and that she figures out a method to get things done in a more timely fashion. I do have mine and she's amazing! But I feel bad about posting pictures with so many people still waiting for a response That said, if anyone wants to see pictures and particular poses, let me know and I'll try to snap a few!

I don't mind! I wanted to post pictures of her sooner honestly, but it's been a really busy couple of months for me and then with everyone waiting I sort of ... Didn't. Haaa. Here's a few pictures from a meet last month:

I saw somebody on Instagram get a doll in the last week, so I am very much hoping that they are happening, albeit slowly.

 

Keeping my fingers crossed that's happening. I really would like to be able to get one of these beauties one day

 

So it looks like Hellwis has updated this instagram tooday with some news! They said their move has finished and they're back to working on Sahit. There's to going out this week and they said that the rest of the orders will be completed and sent out by the end of December. I hope she sticks to her word and everyone here waiting will be able to get theirs soon! I also hope she's learned and develops a better system to help her respond to people and get orders out quicker for the next time she takes a round of orders.

 

I will update here to say... I have had no updates. I have sent an email and a few instagram comments and received no reply.

Very disapppinting. I am interested in their doll but this first order has seemed to be delayed for so long... I hope it works out for everyone waiting.

 

Have any of you tried messaging them directly to them on Insta? instead of emailing and sending comments? I actually got a response to a couple questions about when the next order period might be. I was told they hope to have all dolls finished by the end of Jan but of course things could delay it more.

So send a direct message to them on Insta you might get a better response that way

I am thinking about asking for a refund for my deposit, but I am not sure even that looks likely given the lack of response, and the PayPal window has long since closed.

 

there is russian equivalent of Facebook and this acc: Hellwis (16+) , but it requires registration to comment

and the last post there is the same date as insta, so no news too (

 

I know it's completely pointless asking at this stage but... any news, anyone?

Still no word for me. At this point I have to strongly advise anyone against trying to order from this maker. I've had my money taken and have no doll or refund to show for it.
