    1. Hello!
      I'm new to the forum but not to doll collecting. Most of my doll collection includes American Girl dolls and fashion dolls (both higher-end ones like Tonner/Ellowyne Wilde and playline dolls like Monster High). I do have 2 BJDs, and I'm waiting to hear back from the mods on whether they're on-topic or not--a Goodreau resin BJD and an AileenDoll dragon.
      I've admired BJDs for years, but for a long time, they have been well out of my price range aside from the two mentioned above. But I recently started looking into Resinsoul and was reminded of how much I love the Mei sculpt, and then I discovered how cute Rong is, as well, so I'm thinking of getting Mei and Rong on custom bodies from Resinsoul at some point in the new future. I've never done a faceup before and would love to try giving them custom faceups, too!
      Anyway, thank you to the mods for approving my application to the forum. I look forward to learning from everyone!

    2. Welcome! The Den of Angels Events -> Brigadoon forum has some lively off-topic chat for other doll types. I think many of us collect more than just BJDs. I collect American Girl and Ruby Red Fashion Friends and a smattering of other playline dolls. Most of my resin collection is approximately AG sized which means I get to use a lot of props and furniture display options for both!

      Resinsoul Mei and Rong are lovely. I hope you enjoy getting to customize them in the future! I've always really liked both of them - Mei especially seems so versatile.
