Hello!

Aug 27, 2024

    1. I'm excited to be a part of the DOA community!
I've been passionate about dolls since 2010, exploring various formats and brands, with occasional breaks from the hobby.
My love for traditional Japanese dolls and dollhouses has greatly influenced my interests.
I'm drawn to miniature clothing replicas with intricate details, dioramas, and realistic sculpting.
The captivating beauty of doll faces, reflecting shades of emotions, has always fascinated me.

To me, BJD dolls are not just pieces of art; they're also versatile tools for unleashing artistic potential.
From photography and sewing to crafting, storytelling, and mastering face-up, there are countless creative avenues to explore with BJD dolls.
I'm excited to connect with the talented members here and aspire to master these skills, bringing imaginary characters, their stories, and atmospheres to life.

Thank you for the warm welcome, and I'm looking forward to engaging with you in the community!

    2. I love Japanese dolls! Is there a particular type you're especially fond of? I love Matsu Ningyou! I would love to see BJD meant to capture that look, but I have yet to find ones ;^^

    3. It was great meeting someone who shares similar interests!
It would be amazing to have a BJD brand that share the classic aesthetics of Japanese dolls.
I've come across BJD artists like Nagare Tanaka, Ryo Yoshida, Yoshiko Hori, and Otake Kyo, but this is more in the realm of art.
While my main focus is on collecting Kimekomi Ningyo, I also admire the aesthetics and charm of Ichimatsu Ningyo.
