Hello!!

Hi everyone! I'm happy to finally join DoA after eyeing the forum for a while.

I'm nukki and I have been interested in BJDs since I was young, but I was only recently able to finally get my first dolls and.. it's been a rollercoaster how the hobby sucked me in and now I own 7 dolls within a year Currently my BJD plans consist of shelling few of my favorite fictional characters and couple OCs. I enjoy doing faceups a lot and I hope I get to practice that as much as I can during this summer. Thankfully I have a friend who is as obsessed in dolls as me so I get to practice my skills with their dolls. I also like sewing, so I plan to make clothing for my dolls as well.

My other hobbies are sewing, cosplay, drawing, pretty much crafting overall and gaming! Sometimes I try to learn new languages (Japanese, German), but it has been quite lowkey right now.. My most recently picked language was Chinese so it would be easier to browse BJD related things from the internet

Currently my biggest projects are recreating Shi Qingxuan and He Xuan from Heaven Official's Blessing, and I'm planning to make both female and male versions, I just completely fell in love with them I want to shell few Genshin Impact girls too, especially Eula and Yae Miko!

 

I actually have bought a doll for Shi Qingxuan from Alice already! I bought Telesthesia's Du Xiaoju, since the sculpt really fit my perception of him and I'm planning to get Ringdoll's Dracula 2.0 for He Xuan, but since its way pricier than my other dolls I have to save for that or find cheaper alternative.

For their female forms, I 3D printed both dolls and currently they're waiting to get clothed! I just need to do some research how to make hanfus, though I will probably make some modern clothing for them as well
