But you mention customization, so check out the project journals to see what others are doing & discover useful info on what works or doesn't work. Some of the games are a great way to practice taking photos & figuring out how to share them here. For me the various sewing groups have been a great place to meet like minded crafty bjd people while receiving & sharing sewing tips. And the specific company or sculpt discussion threads are another good way to learn & make connections if there are particular bjds you're interested in.
