    1. Hi, my name is Anne!

      I recently got my first ball jointed doll, he’s a Kids Sky Sapphire and I’m so in love with how poseable and lovely he is! I have plans to get two more dolls now to be his friends! When I was a teenager in the 2000s BJDs were very connected with the visual kei scene and I always wanted one, so it’s nice to use my grown up income to finally pursue the hobby. I really like sewing and knitting clothes for him and had a blast doing his face up. I can’t wait to learn how to do more customizations! I even made some doll sized pottery!!

      In my day to day life I’m an art teacher and live with my husband and two cats. I’m happy to meet you all!

      I also got into BJDs through Lolita and vKei way back when. I'm still heavily hooked on those styles; I'm so glad to see there are people still coming in from those communities. :love

    3. Welcome! Eeeeee~ He's absolutely adorable. I had never looked at that company before, but now I know what my next hour will be spent doing. I was also a teenager fascinated with the scene in the 2000s, haha, so it's always nice to meet someone else who was in the trenches.

      What do you teach? Art, obviously, you said that, but what kind?

    4. The vkei 2000s really WERE the trenches, weren’t they? Lol

      I teach general art to kindergarten through fifth grade, so a little of everything! I’ve also taught ceramics and crafts to high school kids but I definitely like my little kids best.

    7. Little kids are definitely the better option, lmao. They can still be cute at that age.

      It's really amazing what a quick change can do, he looks so different but still so good!
