Hello!

Hello from New England! Call me Becker. I discovered BJDs by attending a BJD informational panel at an anime convention last year. The panelists directed me to this website, and I am excited to learn more about the community! Already I feel inspired by all of the creativity of the people on this site, and I cannot wait to discover more. I do not currently own any dolls, but i hope to in the near future.

 

I really like the Fairyland pukifees, but ultimately I am looking for something larger (1/4) that I can try my hand at making my own nice clothing for. I like the pukifees because I feel like it would be a fun challenge to build a little house with furniture for them! I like the doll chateau bella, but I'm still looking at all of the different options and I am in no rush. I also like seeing the fantasy/sci-fi inspired dolls like mermaids, fairies, and robots (especially ocean people/creatures)!

 

The cool thing about being on this site is being able to explore and discover all sorts of different styles of dolls and companies that I had never heard of before joining! It's also neat how there are so many tutorials for crafting things, so I'm excited to share any future projects with a community. What kind of dolls do you generally prefer?

 

Neat! I just discovered recently that anthros existed, and I agree that they are so cute! I can imagine the tiny ones living in a little log fairy house. The little mice make me feel nostalgic for this series called Redwall.
