Hello there!!

Hey, I’m Steph! I loved dolls as a kid and never really grew out of them. Something about holding a miniature plastic person in your hands is addictive to me.

I first learned about BJDs as a teenager after stumbling across faceup videos on YouTube. BJDs were a bit of a fixation for me, and I spent a lot of my time looking at dolls for someone with zero income. I was aware of Den of Angels, but back then it was invite-only, so I was never able to make an account (though I lurked in the threads plenty!).

I am now a university student, and I still do not have any (on-topic) dolls! However, every now and then I will be reminded of BJDs and fall back down the rabbit hole. I love seeing pictures of other people's dolls, and researching for a hypothetical day when I will be able to buy a BJD for myself!

Some of my favourite doll makers right now include Lillycat, Dust of Dolls, Bardo Research, Ptichka art dolls, and JacooSun dolls.
