Hi Patrick! Welcome to the forums! I checked out your instagram link and you've got some lovely dolls and figures! Though I don't have any Volks or Smartdolls (I have different bjd brands), I do enjoy looking at them and yours are a real treat to see.

Thank you for the link to your Instagram account - you have some very cool photos (and your props are especially amazing - the car and motorcycle are so neat!).

I hope you will enjoy exploring the forum. There are places to post about photography, sewing, accessory-making, etc. There is even a section for off-topic dolls and discussions (It is called "Brigadoon"). The mods are very nice, too, if you need any help.

 

Hello and welcome! I joined the hobby around the pandemic and amassed a lot of dolls. i actually haven't counted, but I know i bought too much. I know I have more than 20. I sold off some, so it is starting to decrease to make space. They are mostly 50 to 75 cm, so i do need to sell enough to have space to display them. We might be moving again, so displaying them will have to wait. One day I would like to share photos of my dolls. Your photos are lovely. I personally don't collect smart dolls or dolfie dreams, but i enjoy looking at the dolls. Thank you for the link.

Did you read the Doa rules? It's good to start reading the rules. What Facebook group are you in? I would like to maybe join. I dislike Facebook, but recently went back to it due to bjds.

 

Thanks! I knew about doa before Facebook groups. I haven't used Facebook in years and I never liked the idea of people sharing their faces online. Well I guess instagram is like that, but more easier to use. I came across doa by chance.
