Hello People

Oct 15, 2025

    1. Hello, I got into this hobby in 2023.

I started with wanting to make a 26 mm miniature of my DnD character so we can use it in games. Long story short I now have this character shelled into one 30cm doll and two 57/58 cm dolls. Whoops!

I recently got Maskcat Lisette as my first big doll with no character in mind, so I'm excited to see how she develops :D

    2. Ooooh! Good luck. I do this with most of my dolls - I get to know their character as I get to known the doll. I found that if I have a character in advance and try to get a doll that fits it - it's a horribvle time of dearching for the right sculpt, gettign the right faceup, ansd dressing them to fit it, also, often the doll will reist and insist on being a different character altogether.

    3. Nice! We have something in common: I also started with wanting to shell my OCs into 1/6 (fashion) dolls but as I was waiting for them to come to me, I joined this forum and within a month, the doll company I was eyeing re-released the perfect sculpt for one of my OCs and I immediately dove into getting the 1/3 doll (64 cm holy cow!). The following month, the company re-released my other grail doll and I had been in such excitement and elation that sadly, when my 1/6 dolls finally came, I've lost interest in them :sweat

      Welcome to the community!

    4. I love the idea of scaling up D&D characters! I now have a new project in mind so thank you for the inspiration!
