    1. Hi all!

      I’m a mid 30’s person who usually collects playline dolls, but this year started dipping my toes into the BJD world with non-resin blind box BJDs.

      I’ve been officially bit by the BJD bug and want to get my first resin BJD, hopefully for the holidays as I browse in-stock dolls from recommended vendors.

    2. Welcome! I also just got into BJDs this year, starting with the blind box ones. Are there any resin BJD sculpts or companies in particular that have caught your eye?

    3. CoralReefDoll has been appearing on my Instagram a lot and is what made me start diving deeper and wanting one of my own. The Mie Mie doll really caught my eye but since it’s not orderable and I want to stick to something human or human-like for my first.

      Right now Fairyland and Doll Leaves have me interested. Denver Doll has some lovely dolls in-stock from both brands. It’s just a lot to decide with so many options after picking a doll, face up no face up, full set no full set.

    4. Hi @GoldfishMage and welcome! Every company has its own style, but I have to say that I really love the bodies from TrueLove and Mystic Kids for great bodies with no muss and no fuss. Some others I love are the special body (female) from Huajing Doll, the 1/5 ballet boy from Doll Family-H and Telesthesia and Dragon. I agree that it's a lot to think about!! I don't have a Fairyland, but I love the idea of the magnetic hands. I think that's just brilliant. And I believe they're supposed to be rock solid posers.
