Hello from western Washington!

    1. Hello!

      I go by Blue, and I've been in LOVE with BJDs since the dawn of the internet and absolutely obsessed with the idea of turning them into my RP OCs and ships!

      I'm in the tech field around a lot of tech people and gamers and never would dare to talk about dolls with them (we got on the topic and they all laughed about how creepy doll collectors are, sooo I'm going to avoid mentioning it around them LOL!)

      I just recently at the ripe old age of 30 finally could afford my first BJD about 9 months ago and it was a DDdy that I turned into my main OC!
      And of course I had the "I only need one, I'm happy" but I had the opportunity to buy her, her husband and got an SDGr hubby from the RP she's in, aaaannnd well.. 1 led to 2.. 2 led to 6, Soo I now have a great collection of characters mostly Volks DDs!

      I'm just finally branching out into other sculptors like AS (I managed to get the Kelly Knight Full set omg I'm so excited) and Granado (My girls real hubby bout to really be the Titan in a few months!), and I just last night got my first Angel Philia Ellie doll! And it's so fun, I used to be so scared of being that "weirdo that collects dolls" but knowing there's such an amazing, supportive, and kind community, really helped drive me to continue collecting and go head first into the hobby!!

      I'm really enjoying reading the forum and watching everyone interact and help eachother! I'm hoping to be able to do my own face up and clothing soon,l too, thank goodness there's so many YouTube videos for it lol!

      Anyways thanks so much for all being such incredible, kind, and welcoming people, I feel so at home >u<!!

    5. its so fun to buy these beautiful dolls and make them your own.
      my kids would probably just donate my dolls to goodwill if I were to die but I love them-my dolls.
      good to have another bjd lover in this crazy world

    8. OHMYGOD I literally feel the same! My daughters love dolls right now but by the time I croak I'm sure they'd sell them for a corn chip or something
