    1. Hi all! very excited to be more active on this forum ❤
      I go by Chi, but my name is Maria (you can call me either or!), I am originally from Venezuela but have lived in the U.S for most of my life.

      I've been lurking for a bit, but finally trying to be more active in threads and in the community.
      I got into BJDs in late 2018 and my first doll was a smart doll! (these count as BJDs right? lol)
      I also collect dollfie dreams, but have gotten really into collecting resin dolls lately! I don't know why but I started seeing more and more photos on Instagram and at first I didn't really like the more realistic look- but after getting my first 1/4 dolls I am smitten! ( a size that I also didn't think I'd like since my dds and smart dolls are 1/3 scale)

      So far I have a few minifees, and do dolls dream girls on pre order, 2 lillycats paid off and waiting for them to ship and a do dolls dream teacup due to arrive any day now! Oh I also have a merrydollround fang! she is lovely and I was surprised at how heavy 1/3 scale resin girls are lol but I love how sturdy they feel.

      If anyone wants to be dolly friends and loves chatting and talking about dolly plans :D I am in dire need for some resin bjd dolly friends~

      Welcome here! Smartdolls do not count as BJD for this forum, so they can only be posted in the off-topic Brigadoon section, but of course you can add them to your profile and such. DD's are free to be posted in the gallery and such.

      Sounds like you have an awesome resin collection!

      There's lots of Washington and Oregon dolly folk to find on DoA and Discord, etc. I'm near PDX myself, -Welcome! Seems I have collected bjd one in every size, but I do prefer the 1/3 size, even though they take up much space!

    8. Hello and welcome! Another Washingtonian here, South Puget sound area. Sounds like you will soon be over run with new dolls demanding your attention. I love sewing in the winter months for dolls. If you sew there are several active threads where we keep busy and chatty.

    12. Hello! I'm trying to make some new dolly friends as well! I currently own one full doll, a CP Delf Lishe called Feather and I'm working on my second doll a CP Delf Luwen girl called Snow! I'm saving for a Littlefee and I love to crochet and sew my own clothing! I'd love to chat or pm or insta message if you'd like to talk resin dolls, i unfortunately don't know much on smart dolls or dollfie dream! :)
