Hello from Slovakia!

Hello! I’m a new collector, I received my first BJD in August this year and just recently completed her.

I was first enchanted by BJDs about ten years ago, when I knew some owners and their lovely dolls in real life, but back then I was a student with a very limited budget and I decided to focus my spending on my other hobby, Lolita fashion.

Last year, I decided it was finally the right time to get myself a BJD that I had wanted for so long. I knew I wanted my first one to be an MSD girl. My first choice was Doll Leaves Pearl, but after I started creating her character, I realized I wanted her to be a human, so I chose Betty from the same company instead. I was looking forward to her arrival a lot, but I was still surprised by how much I liked her when she arrived. Any worries I had of possibly not bonding with her well since she was not my first choice were cleared.

I’m currently saving up for two other dolls to create a family for her. I have my eye set on a ResinSoul Tang and Bobobie Lucky, hopefully I’ll be able to order them in a few months. Wish me luck with it, please, and thank you for reading my introduction!
