Hello From a New Collector

Hi there! My name is Kelly and I've collected a variety of dolls (non-BJD) over the decades. My daughter Beth introduced me to BJD dolls and I've been learning about them from her over the past year. Recently I decided I'd like to join her in collecting and ordered two MSD dolls from Raccoon Doll, Henry & Ivy. I like the size of MSD dolls and I really like realism. I'm also into history, so Henry & Ivy will wear clothing from earlier eras. Eventually I plan to get a few more Raccoon Dolls (Brendan, Damien, Annie & Nina), and maybe someday a SartoriaJ doll (I'm so sad I missed the Historical Series!).

For now, I'm trying to be patient while I wait for Henry & Ivy. I'm so excited to see them! I ordered them the 2nd week of February so I'm guessing they'll be ready around the 2nd week of May.

I've been lurking around here, reading and learning as much as I can. I'm glad to be able to say Hi to you all and that I've enjoyed your gorgeous photos & thank you for your helpful information.
