    1. I’m Elli from Norway! (Don’t mind my username, it’s an old name.)

      I don’t own any dolls yet, but I’ve been wanting one for years. I am planning on buying my first doll in a few months so I figured now was a good time to make my first post! When I first made my account I was pretty young and unsure how this forum worked, and a little intimidated to be honest, but I’m exited to try and finally use it! :) I really want to buy a Myou Zuzana doll, or possibly a Minifee for my first doll (but all the Minifee head options kind of stresses me out haha).

      I have been totally obsessed with barbies and monster high dolls since I was younger and used to collect them. I love dressing up dolls and having photoshoots with them.:love About six years back (when I discovered bjds), 12 year old me attempted very botched faceups on every single one of my dolls, so they’re all sadly thrown away now...:frownyblush:

      I am here to learn and to get to know the community! I am really interested in trying to do faceups for dolls as well. And maybe even sculpting a doll in the future... :chibi

    2. Hi and welcome! Getting the first doll is so exciting!!

      I agree, MNF have many options so it can be a bit overwhelming. I always found looking at owner pics (flickr or instagram or here) or videos on youtube helped a lot!

      Myou dolls are super cute too! Goodluck making your choice :D And I hope you grow more comfortable around here too. Waiting rooms when you have a doll on the way or discussion threads about sculpts you like are a good way to get involved :)

      Hope you have fun with faceups too~ And sculpting sounds exciting :dance

    3. Hi Hi, Finding which doll you'd like can be hard with all the options but I agree with the comment above, Find the sculpt you like and look at owner pictures. This has helped me choose which dolls I want as it gives you a better idea of what the doll looks like IRL!

      Also the monster high thing was totally me as a kid lol! All mine had to be thrown out as I had ruined them but I guess that is part of being a kid so don't feel sad :hug:

    4. Heya! Ooh how exciting to buy your first doll! My first doll is currently being made, I finished paying it off at the beginning of January. I'm so excited.

      I ended up making my choice based on the doll I kept going back to to look at the pictures so maybe that's what will happen to you. I also did what others said and found owner pictures.

      Myou Zuzana is very sweet! Good luck with buying your first doll :love.

    5. Welcome... just be aware dolls are extremely addictive. A year ago I had one, now I have many (13 Dollfie Dream, 1 Super Dollfie, countless Azones).

      My 2 year old niece has some pretty cool LOL dolls and I really want that Paris Hilton Rainbow High one.
