Some can be old but if you have questions people are more then happy to answer. Don't be afraid to ask creators of threads anything as they were once beginners too. Just started a layaway on a new doll I wanted a loongsoul 73cm boy or ringdoll Zhao Yun, but suddenly I saw a new Telesthesia's boy "young actor Du Xiaoju" on the Alice's collection site and immediately fell in love xD I hope he'll looks the same as on promo photos. Also I am still looking for ringdoll's Xie Lian, cause I wasn't able to get him when he was re-released (

I'm also new in getting into the hobby seriously despite being into dolls earlier on, and I watched Dollightful and other customization videos as well. :] They're really fun, I'd love to be able to do faceups/customizations like that with BJDs someday. I hope you can get your Miku eventually!

 

Welcome!! I'm also a big fan of Dollightful; she's amazing at what she does. DD Miku is an amazing doll- I just love the whole Vocaloid series, honestly!

 

Welcome. There's a possibility Volks may rerelease a Miku as part of their 20th anniversary. It's highly likely it would be Sakura Miku.

Other Mikus aren't in such short supply but just be aware the 2014 version's outfit deteriorates fast so don't pay crazy prices for her.

An alternative is to dress your Miku in an alternative outfit. Ribbon Girl is my favourite other Miku outfit (but it's not cheap). This is my Kirika (Shining Resonance) modelling one of the Ginger Tea Miku outfits. I got this outfit from Yahoo Japan Auctions (via Buyee). YJA is also a good place to find actual Mikus. Miku wigs are widely available.
