I was lucky enough to get this gorgeous head and a body (separately) on DoA recently. As the new F60 Sircca head is relatively smaller, I felt the need to modify the neck on the body that I was able to buy. Now I'm *very* happy with my tan Sircca - named "Sam". I've been rather sewing up a storm for the F60 gals - and made several pieces just for my Sam. As I love doing heirloom sewing (fine cotton batiste fabrics, French cotton laces and silk ribbons) - Sam has gotten a few pieces of her own! first a delicate chemise with silk ribbon/lace at neckline: I made the fancy petticoat first - and then felt the need to make a corset cover so I could take photos of the petticoat to share with friends! I'd tried to use the chemise under the petticoat for photos - but the fabric is so sheer that it showed thru!! Hence the need for a short corset cover. a bright summery dress for Sam - I had noticed the skirt was rather sheer and 'needed' a petticoat and the petticoat in place with the dress it was meant for!
Wow the undergarments are exquisite! I love the sheer fabrics and laces you've picked, such tender work!
Thanks so much @dm_sof !! The petticoat was inspired by a photo of a museum piece! Thanks @Teddy ! Thanks lots @mydaffer !! I also love the delicacy of the heirloom pieces! Thanks so much @cobaltconduct !!! You can actually read thru that petticoat fabric - I love working with it and the French cotton laces! Thanks so much @RabbidBunnies !! Sircca does have a sweet face too, doesn’t she?! Thanks @crybabymommie ! Thanks lots @Valdemagra !! Those delicate batistes work so well for the dolls! Thanks much @quilleth !! Thanks @Girlfriend7 !
