Haru Casting Mini Dolls

My problem lies in that as I stated, it keeps reverting back, and also it looks to me like the strings are crossed.

 

So for the pants it's the 1/4 not 1/3 just to clarify.

Took Amaya out to the park with me since I knew I’d have a lot of time to kill before my dentist appointment and then before work.

 

Love her face, and body with the outfit, very mature looking actually. Without the faceup she's beautiful. The shoes you got her or boots rather would they also be 1/4 size as well?

She reminds me of a fictional character from Prince of Tennis with the beanie and sweater.

 

Yeah, even just blank I love taking pictures of her. Pretty sure I’ll end up having a more subtle look done on her when I do eventually send her out to be painted.

Yes, the shoes are 1/4 as well. These ones are actually a little big on her, but I really liked the chunky shoe look on her, so I don’t mind. Makes slipping them off and on easy too, even with her stockings on. Got these ones from Nine9style. I haven’t tried any other shoes on her yet, but I’m thinking shoes that fit Minifees/Unoas will fit her pretty well too.

 

Thank you for the information dear, and your insight as well [your youtube videos are great by the way]. I am more tempted to just get her like a sleeve tattoo going on mostly. I got sort of inspired by that movie "The Outsider".

Oooh~! A tattoo would be cool. You got any design in particular in mind, or still brainstorming?

 

It is tough indeed figuring out on my own, but there are some nice etsy people that have guided me somewhat as well as Alice's Collections. Sizing has been an issue for me; getting the right size clothes and such.

Have you heard of the story of the koi turning into a dragon? That is sort of the idea I want for a tattoo sleeve, not a full on one just maybe a partial sleeve.

Or maybe "the ice princess" [I'm not talking about Frozen the movie] but the Incan Ice princess, she had a tattoo on her.

I'm not sure what you mean about the eyes... I don't want EDs - I don't like how they photograph. I think I'm gonna stick with grey glass for now.
Yes, she is standing on her own - she has no trouble with that

Yes, she's basic normal, which doesn't look 'peachy' in person at all.

 

Well, I’m having the same problem with her being strung so tight she is almost impossible to pose. I don’t know if it’s possible for her to loosen up when her stringing is stretched to the max. My heart is very sad at this point, I really thought she was going to be a better poser. I have tried to reset her by pulling out the right knee but it doesn’t stay but for a second then she kinks up again. Her hips just roll around in their sockets without anything to grab onto she just collapses. Not sure what to do.

 

Same issue I'm having as well.

 

I finally gave my girl a faceup. I had to, I couldn't look at her without one and feared I wouldn't end up liking her but she looks much better now. Introducing Nika:

Have you emailed Haru directly? Since he was so responsive to the initial complaints he may be open to working with you in a solution. He did say not to try restringing, but that would be my next move, along with sueding.

 

I talked to him through Instagram dm, and he said that he would be drilling the channels in the other batches of Maji to fix it. But I didn't get a chance to ask about the batches that have already been shipped.

 

I'm suddenly glad my order is far from being processed yet...

 

I received my Maji today and she's so lovely! She has the problem with the kicky right leg as well, so I might have to contact Haru about getting a replacement part as someone mentioned.

Haru posted videos of the fixed legs on his instagram story, so I assume the problem with the kicky legs is now resolved

Im not sure when the next shipment is, but I'm nervous, I really hope that they ship soon.

 

I got an email from Haru yesterday saying "Next week your baby will finally go home!" and I was able to pay the second payment.

So they're coming soon!

I saw the pictures he posted of E-minor, and I'm in love! So cute! If I don't end up bonding with Maji...I might sell her and get E-minor. But I'm not betting on it, Maji is adorable.

I wrote to Haru about the right thigh problem and he asked if I could ship the thigh back to him so can fix it. He worried about the colour and texture being different if he made a new thigh.
I don't know if I should ship back the right thigh to him, or if I can learn to live with the problem. Did anyone else get the same reply from Haru and what did you choose?

 

I got the same reply....to tell you the truth i did not give a definite answer. I'm conflicted because the shipping to send it back will probably be a good amount...but I don't think we should just "learn to live with it"

 

Same reply but I haven't shipped yet. I can't live with the problem but I don't feel I should cover shipping for a problem that should've been fixed before it was sent to me either.

 

Buyers being stuck with expenses or other grievances caused by the company, is strangely unique to this hobby. Even animals are more readily exchanged/replaced/refunded.

 

Is everyone having that much trouble with Maji's leg? Mine's a bit kicky but it's nothing so bad I can't live with it, I think being without her for a few weeks having the thigh part fixed would be too hard for me. I'm quite attached to her already

I saw the pictures of E-Minor and I'm in love with her too, I'm afraid she will have to come home at some point too, although maybe not this next pre-order. I'm not supposed to be buying more dolls this year haha.

Missed out on the Barcelona doll con because I thought I'd be getting my 2nd invoice soon. I mean, it's only 2 months overdue and 2 months that I can't plan/spend 1/5 of my hard-earned money, but eh?

 

The wait time is UNREAL. I am actually a bit disappointed. It’s pushing 6 months.

 

I feel the same ; it's close to 5 months for me ! Never waited so long for a doll .
But I'm sure she's worth the wait...

 

The longer I end up waiting for my 2nd invoice the more worried I become about something going wrong. I has been a long wait for me... This is the first time I've bought a doll new! Until now I've always bought secondhand. I like dolls that others have owned... I find them charming. But I am excited to have my first brand new doll. Eventually.

For now I'm enjoying the photos other people post.

Glad it's not just me who is worried.
I thought maybe I'd get an invoice because he posted the video, but I haven't received anything still. Thinking I might just message him and ask if it's okay for me to send my 2nd payment now.

Seeing the video was awesome though! They all look amazing. Its hard for me to tell which dolls are which resin color due to lighting/not knowing what other people ordered. Is the lighter one basic maji? I know there were lighter shades than that available though.

 

My doll isn't in that batch but Haru said my doll is order 34. So...? He said she will be shipped sometime in June, but before he said May. I'm really anxious about this, I've never bought a new doll.

 

Honestly, I feel similarly. He hasn't said anything to us about why the orders have been delayed for 2 extra months, and while it's nice there are people on here close enough to him to give us updates, it shouldn't be that way.

I don't think it's good to have someone not involved with the business process at all saying oh everything is just delayed a bit, while the person I gave my money to has said nothing but has had plenty of time to post pictures from his vacations on Instagram.

Yes, I understand that he's a person, and yes he is entitled to rest and relaxation, but is it honestly too much to ask for a message about the delay? A "Hey, sorry about the delay, I took on too many orders, my child is sick, something unexpected happened etc, and it will take me some time to catch up" Just take the time to explain. Is that too much to ask?

Especially since your item is not cheap. I don't want to be that person, because I have worked retail, but we're spending a lot of money on your project. Is a little time for discussion too much to ask?

 

Does he have an account on here? He contacted me on Instagram and asked me to post in the forums for him about the leg issue so I don't think he has one. He probably should create an account so that he is able to post messages about delays and things like that.

 

He messaged me on Instagram to tell me mine wouldn't be shipped until later June, and asked for my Pay Pal info again. I am very worried...

 

I have still not heard a single word about mine. But the person who ordered at the same time as me... their doll was in the video posted yesterday.

I feel similarly to the above responses. I think some sort of message letting us know about delays would've been appropriate.

Whelp. My doll isn't in this batch either. (Were we even told there would be batches?) Even though the girl who ordered when I did... hers is. That makes zero sense. He will try to send her in June still.
My patience is wearing thin... I've been waiting nearly 6 months when I expected 3-4 months.
With no real explanation.

And I'm trying to STILL hold back money for her that I had saved.
He's shipping tomorrow. So, if you haven't heard about paying your second part... I doubt your doll is in the group that's coming home soon.

Yup, he told me mine is not in the batch being shipped tomorrow. I am extremely disappointed... I ordered on the first day. And one of the dolls in the video, is exactly what I ordered. So...I'm just sad. This doll is so stressful!

I think part of the reason is because he said he'll be fixing the kicky leg on all dolls that weren't included in the first batch?
Also I think the faceup artist was a little overwhelmed. I'm not 100% sure on that one though.

He did say, on IG, in the pre-order post that orders would be shipped sequentially from March, I've just copied and pasted this here -
"- Payment: paypal (full or layaway 2 times when ordering and before shipping)

At this point I am very disappointed in Harucasting's wait time. I remember reading that the delivery time is at the end of March. But that information is now removed.

Prior to ordering the doll, Harucasting did not notify buyers that his dolls will be sent "by batch" according to "payment time". Also when he did miss his promised deadline, we did not get any kind of update.

Now according to buyer messages (again, not from Harucasting directly) I am feeling that there will be more than two batches.

I also want to point out that Harucasting took/produced other orders during this time. He also sculpted a whole new doll body during this time.

Right now I can't help but feeling like that my doll deposit money has turned into a aging saving account lol.

Of course there are worse business practices and longer wait time than this; but if I were to know this before hand, I wouldn't have ordered.

 

I feel the same. i really don't like to see pictures from vacation and other stuff he has done when our dolls is sitting somewhere. I think our orders should have been number one! He should not take any new orders from who he casts dolls(i don't know has he) before our dolls is ready. i really think that we are not priority to him.. witch is sad.. now he has a lot of customers that are dissapointed and angry. i have been asking many times about my order. He has apologize many times for the delays but hasn't had any reasons why. Lucky for me my doll has been shipped now finally.
