Haru Casting Mini Dolls

Haru has Maji heads up on his Flickr! Says those getting faceups are going to Russia next week. I hope that means blanks ones will be going home soon!

 

He said in the comments that due to their busy work schedule, the blank Maji's are going home in April.

Oh! I ordered my Maji in Nanni Choco. It's really nice looking. I was a little worried, but now I'm glad I went for it!

 

Okay, not sure this is the proper place to put this. But I was wondering how do you find out when he offers new dolls for sale? I tried to contact him through some but not a website I found and it went nowhere. Another place and it might have been on Flickr I found where you could actually send an email and I did and never heard back from him. It's very frustrating. I just want to find a way to find out when he has new orders available cuz I am falling in love with his dolls. Any advice would be helpful. I never even had heard or knew about his dolls until I happen to run across something on this form one time.

 

Yup E-Minor in dark resin is gorgeous wonder if he will make a new body with the sculpt or if he will sale the head by itself.

 

Follow him on instagram, he posts progress pictures there. He had a preorder in January so he is not taking order now but i do believe he is planning another maji preorder later this year and hopefully a preorder for E-Minor.

 

I agree, follow his instagram. His tumblr is Haru resin casting where you can see a lot of the skin colors, the price information, and his email with how to contact him about orders.

 

@Jillybeans57 just chiming in to add that he has been super busy lately and that is probably why you haven't heard back from him yet.

Pure speculation on my part, but I'm hoping orders will open up again in the middle of the year. It will depend on how much other work he's got on I guess. Either way, I'm going to start putting my pennies aside now. Hoping for lots of owner pics of Maji in the meantime

Seriously nervous.. and excited.. this will be my first "blank" doll where I have to do the face-up. Been practicing like crazy, but alas on monster highs. Nothing major planned, just simple, but I don't want to screw up.

 

Don't stress! You can always wipe & start again I'm sure she will be lovely.

I have her on layaway I absolutely want her ever since I saw that pic he uploaded with the short blond wig. Really reminded me of Yui Hongo (Fushigi Yuugi).

 

Oh I definitely will! I plan to do a video box opening when I eventually get her. :3

 

I'm too excited for her! Sadly I probably won't get her until after April as I picked her to get a faceup. But it will be worth the wait!!!

I ordered early and thought our dolls would be shipped by end of March, but then I read that he won’t ship until ? April?? Is it bc he will wait for all the face up dolls to return before he ships any Maji? Do I understand that right ?

 

I believe he said that the delay is because he's been really busy during March. I think the blank Maji will go to their new homes in April and the ones with faceups will be sent in May. He said as much when he commented on someone's photo on Instagram.

 

Hi! I was curious how you got in contact with her? Thru instagram/email? I want to go over my faceup with her but not sure how best to contact her

 

I messaged her about my faceup! She responded very easily through Instagram. Though she's probably just as easy to reach via email. If you don't get a response on IG, try commenting a photo saying you sent her a PM. Because IG makes you accept or decline messages. And sometimes it doesn't always alert the person who received the message.

Already April! Waiting is tedious((

 

I'm already anticipating impatiently for news when Maji is shipping~ can't wait to get her home! She's going to be my first tan doll. I really couldn't imagine getting her in any other resin! It's just going to be hard parting with her soon after receiving her, because I will be sending her for a face up!

 

I’m also pretty antsy to hear news about Maji! 8D The artist I’d like to send my girl to will be opening slots for April/May soon, so I probably won’t be able to get my girl sent out for a faceup until early or mid-summer. Really need to get on finding her a wig though! P: So hard to find a nice looking bob cut...I might just have to buy a long-ish wig and cut it myself.

Anyone have a clue about wigs? Her head is a little smaller than most msd’s yes, about 6 1/2?? I really like the chopped short blond wig he has photographed her in

 

The faceup artist on Instagram recently mentioned that she's been sick and hasn't been to the post office, I assume this is why I haven't heard anything yet? I'd rather she be healthy than get my doll sooner. But I'm also anxious about communication, I wonder how that will work out. No mention from Haru yet about the final layaway payment either. Haru did mention that blank dolls will go out at the end of April, I think.

Her head is indeed smaller than MSD, especially smaller than MNF I think because they have kind of large heads to begin with lol. I assume a basic 6-7" wig will fit with some putty under the wig cap. I ordered mine custom through Frapzilla so I was able to give them the exact measurement.

 

I also ordered a Frappzilla wig for my Maji. I believe Haru uses a lot of their wigs in his photos? And for the customized faceup I think he asked me about it when I first ordered Maji. I hope the artist gets to feeling better, she needs to take good care of herself. I would like to hear from Haru about making my final payment though.

I think that is the Maji heads finished and ready to go back to Harucasting. Blisslacosta received the heads on March 22nd.

All those heads in less than a month..? Wow.

 

I too am getting a wee bit panicky - only because I am moving at the beginning of next month, and not a in city move but a cross country move. I didn't order a face up but timing will be tight I think.

 

@Deireth Maybe you can ask Haru to hold onto your doll until you’ve moved to your new place? Or have it shipped to a family member or friend instead?

Okay guys, let me give the information on the faceups.

Bliss sent out the first batch of harucasting babies that she finished back to Haru. Each head has a name associated with them, so if you do want a different faceup, *please contact her*. She's had them for a while!

I don't know when Haru is going to receive them or send them out, but I do know that Bliss is working on another batch right now (Including mine I think? LOL). She told me on April 14th on Instagram that the next batch will ship in two weeks. I'm not entirely sure how many batches there are, but again, would probably be a good idea to contact her asap.​

Instagram would be your best bet!! Haru left it up to us to message her, and some people have linked her above And last thing I heard Maji’s would be sent off soon ​

 

I contacted Bliss about custom faceup. She said I would have had to make a note to Haru requesting custom, and that all the other heads will be painted like the ones she sent to him. She said I can try contacting him to ask.

 

??? What really??? When I asked Haru every time he said to contacted Bliss once the heads got to her. Strange. He has nothing to do with the faceups so idk why that would be the case.​

 

My guess is that he attached names to the heads as you said so that when the heads return, he can make sure the customized ones go to the right person. But since my name isn't on any of them, I think Bliss wants me to check with him first. I haven't gotten a reply yet. She said all the rest of the heads are supposed to be painted the way she had done for Haru's dolls, which were gorgeous faceups anyway so I won't be too upset if it's too late to custom, lol!

 

So, it turns out that I was supposed to ask for a custom faceup when I ordered, which is information I must not have seen posted anywhere. He said I ordered Maji Basic Normal and that.... maybe either basic or normal was the faceup option?? Not sure, because I thought that was the skin color based on this photo here: @harucasting on Instagram: “Massive pillars! #harushades #resincasting #abjd #resincolours”

Anyway, it's too much stress now and I loved the sample faceups she did anyway, so now I know for next time.

 

Yah weird, it did say on his pre-order post on instagram that you were supposed to message the artist, and I had let him know pre that I wanted a custom, but either way Bliss does amazing faceups and she'll make your girl look absolutely wonderful ​

 

Yeah, I saw on the preorder post that he said to go directly to the artist but I guess I was too late.

So I contacted Haru about the second layaway payment and he said my Maji head arrived to him from Russia!! He said it will ship in about 2 weeks I get a feeling those two weeks will feel like an eternity lol

 

For clarification, only about half the Maji heads for faceup returned, so I don't know if he's going to ship half first or wait for the rest of the heads before shipping. But yep, it's gonna happen soon!!!!

I just asked him. I hate taking invoices of undetermined arrival into account when spending money... much less since I need to get my dog out of customs on Monday..

 

I asked him about if he knows what batch mine is in, since I need to know relatively when I need to transfer my money. He told me that the "parents" (cute) would be emailed sometime next week.

What do you think about E-minor? Her face up is perfect but young. I would like to see her body.

 

I loved her lips and eyes but the cheeks really give her a younger appearance...the faceups are beautiful but again make the sculpt look childlike...

 

So mine is still in Russia...

 

My Maji is blank - wish I didn't have to wait as long for her... then again, maybe he did all the heads first and has been working on the bodies while the others get painted (?)

 

I fell in love the first glance of her pictures! Waiting for the next pre-order
