Haru Casting Mini Dolls - Part 2

Feb 16, 2020

    1. Ahhh they're so lovely

    2. Wow, congratulations! They are so adorable, and I like skin tone you choose! And they also delivered so fast.:aheartbea:daisy
I am waiting and hope my Ade girl will come soon:love

    3. Thank you!

Thank you! I hope your Ade girl arrives soon too.

    4. Is anyone else getting Vivi or one of the other dolls available this ordering period?

    5. @Dollquest your girls are so pretty! I'm torn between Vivi in nanni choco and vivi brownie. :|

    6. I am getting a Vivi in joa milky choco as the DnD alt version of my OC Farrah, then I'll have three versions of him~

@taixonay Oh, both of these colors are so good tho! A hard choice!

    7. @sanachii and @taixonay Vivi looks really cute in his pictures! I have loved all the Haru Casting skin tones I've seen so far. It is a hard choice. I am choosing Maji mild tan to go with my Maji. I think she will make a cute little sister for her. Are you getting a face-up through Haru Casting, getting it done privately or doing it yourself?

    8. @Dollquest
I am gonna cm someone for that privately, probably. What about you?
And yes! I think all the harucasting resin colors are very pretty.

    9. I am going to let his artist do it. I've been happy with that in the past.

    10. @Dollquest I decided to get her in vivi brownie. I will most likely do her face-up myself but we'll see. It's been a couple of years since I last painted a doll. I currently have two others that need face-ups. Vivi will be the the third when she arrives.

    11. I would love to get an E-Seul and Song-E but it’s just not in the cards right now since I’m back in school. Maybe another time.

    12. Huhuhu, my Lime boy is back home after being gone to be modded and painted since March.

    13. I recently purchased a Smiling Maji secondhand and would like to order her some clothes and stuff before she gets here; I think I read somewhere that they use 6 inch 1/6 size wigs? My girl has the JOA body - will she fit Minifee clothes? Thanks in advance for any and all help ❤️

    14. Minifee clothes will fit her top but not her bottom. So you’re ok to use shirts and dresses but pants you’ll want some regular MSD sizes. I had a pair of stretchy pleather pants meant for Minifee on my Maji and she split the seam :XD: That “Hulk Butt” is no joke.

    15. @Fractal Congrats on the new girly! Yes on the 6-7in wigs for them. :)

For MNF tops/dresses, I'd steer away from anything structured and non-stretchy since Maji/Joa are much more busty than even the largest MNF chest, though coats/vests and so on should be fine (especially if you don't absolutely have to have all of them be closed). Most of the clothes I have for my girl are regular MSD pieces and they fit her just fine and dandy (and adjusting tops is much easier than pants for anything I want a more fitted look for).

If you want something like skinny jeans, you'd probably have to take in the pant legs a little bit in the lower leg area, but that's usually a pretty simple modification! They can share shoes with MNFs, so you shouldn't have issues finding stuff that fits.

    16. That’s really good to know :D
I have made a Pinterest board with inspiration for my girl https://pin.it/3pHktrqfV
I want a knitted sweater and overall shorts for her, with stockings/pantyhose and chunky socks and boots :D judging by what you guys have said, I should be fine to buy a Minifee stretchy sweater and a regular size overalls to fit her dumptruck butt xD

    17. My Vivi is here! SHE'S SO STINKIN' CUTE!!!!

She's my first Harucasting doll and I am thoroughly in love with her. I got her in vivi brownie resin and it is such a lovely color in person. My phone and the lighting in my house are not able to capture how naturally rich the color is. I'm glad I went with it.

In the pictures I saw how wide her hips were, but I still was not prepared. So far I've been able to get her into stretchy MSD pants and pants that are meant for JID girls. I think the Ade body might be thicker than than the JID body in the hips and thigh department but I haven't had an actual moment to compare the two side by side.

I love her posing too! She can sit with her knees bent and she can lean towards them, kind of like in this pic: Haeucasting Vivi

    18. After wanting a Haru baby for a couple years, I joined the preorder this time around, and ordered a Geurim in Ade tan! I'm so excited. :D It was a tough choice between Geurim or Kuri in Vivi rosey tan (love Bada too), but I ended up going with Geurim as she was the first Haru sculpt I really fell in love with. I'll just have to adopt Kuri in the future, haha. I'm going to try to have stuff ready for her when she arrives, although I'm not sure what style she'll end up being, and I won't really know until I start trying things. I'm really excited! Gonna be combing this forum for tips and tricks on dressing her!

    19. How much do Harucasting dolls cost? Bijou is getting a pre-order in Feb or March and I'd like to get her but I'm not sure how much money I should plan for.

    20. I don't know what the current prices are since I haven't followed things for a while but I remember single msd sized doll costing between 500-800+ USD depending on the skin color and doll chosen so they are on the more expensive end of the price scale.

    21. Oooooh, that might put her out of my reach.

    22. He does usually offer lay-aways too.

    23. OK, that might work.

    24. Roughly $450-700 about depending on the resin color

    25. When I pre-ordered Kuri, she was $624. Not including EMS shipping. He allows a 3 part layaway if you need. :)

    27. New Bijou preorder has been announced!! March 20-April 10! I'm so excited!! I think I can swing the cost as ling as layaway is available.

Can you get face-up through Harucasting?

    28. New
Yes, you can order a face-up done by Mayak Dolls! Either custom OOAK, or you can pick from any of the faceups she's done on Haru's dolls on his feed. I know he has some painted by Barbie Finger as well, who is also based in South Korea, so if you prefer her work you could probably ask them both if that would be alright.

I haven't pre-ordered a doll with face-up from him yet, but I do have a doll painted by Mayak and she is really lovely and detailed. Highly recommend!

(And I think there's almost always layaway x3 available!) :3nodding:

Thank you!! I do love the face-ups on the insta feed! I'm definitely getting that added!

    30. New Okay, maybe a silly question but I have been looking at Harucasting dolls here on DoA for quite some time now, and I think I can say I’m in love with the dolls. But where can I buy them…? I have been searching on Google but I can’t find it. Am I doing something wrong?

Harucasting only sells on Instagram. It's one of the reasons I've never gotten one before! LOL! I resisted joining Insta for years, but I need it to follow local galleries for open calls and oops! I started following doll companies too. The Harucasting insta is the same name, very easy to find.

    32. New
Haha that explains a lot, I don’t really use Instagram! But I will definitely take a look. Thank you!

The preorders are up! They ARE on the Harucasting site, each doll has their own listing. Be prepared to write an essay though... Lots of hoops to jump through.
