Happy 10th birthday! (DOC Zen)

Today is a special occasion and I want to share it with you all.

I got into this hobby thanks to the angel above, he has been with me for 10 years today and I couldn't be happier. Cheesy or not, I got a deep bond with him and he's very important to me. His name is kyoshi but my mom gave him the nickname "cutie pie" and that's how I always call him^^

So, I want to share some photos for each year he's been with me because right now I'm away from him :[ and won't be back until the next week, the photos are not great but they each have a meaning when I was struggling to find the perfect look for him. All I have is the pictures to remember him until I get back to give him a huge hug!!

Happy 10th birthday my cutie pie!


2005
One of the first pictures....he had huge 16mm acrylic eyes and the default wig


2006
Acrylic eyes were changed to 14mm glass eyes...still not happy with the eyes and wig combo


2007
I experimented with other eyes and wigs but didn't like them.
Finally found the perfect wig for him at the end of the year though


2008
This is the year of big changes, he got the perfect eyes and the perfect body.
New body from Dollmore! I was so happy with the new body, 100% skin match and better in all aspects... that day that I stared at him for 20 minutes.


New eyes from Gumdrops and never changed them again.


By this point, I was 100% happy with his looks.


2009
I found the place called Sadol and the clothes they sell were perfect for him.




2010

I didn't play that much with him this year, big changes in my life ;___; but he was always there making me company and comforting me.




2011
My brother took this picture and dressed him here^^ he liked to play with him.


2012
I remember taking this picture at 1am when I was supposedly studying but decided to play with him^^


2013
It's sad that I didn't take any picture of him that year! I stopped with the hobby for a while because there some things going on that took my attention from them

2014
I decided to give him a new face up, manicure (not by me), full body wash/blushing (by me) for neglecting him for a long time, my love for him never dies.







2015

You can see how my little one has mellowed out but I love it, and it's just a sign that he is aging with me.



I took this picture last week before I had to go away...




...and while I'm away, he stayed with good company! (wanted to include all his companions but the the SD ones didn't fit)

Awww this touched my heart deeply. thank you so much for your kind words and I do remember your pretty girl from the DOD thread, my little boy has a cute fan! yay!!

I can see myself making other threads like this one in the future celebrating his 20th-30th-40th and hopefully 50th birthday! =D

I'm really humbled by this, he is precious and will always be. Thank you!
