Open Handmade Resin Eyes - EU Based

Handmade resin eyes made and shipped from the EU (Germany). I've been working and experimenting with eye-making for over a year now, and I'm proud of how far I've come. I like to make the sorts of eyes I don't often see elsewhere (realistic or realistic-ish fantasy eyes), and I know other people are looking for this sort of eye, too.

These eyes are WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get). They are entirely handmade, so there may be small flaws in them, such as minute bubbles, slight crazing on the sclera surface, minor unevenness of the domes, slightly off-center pupils, small color bleeds around the iris, and so on. Asymmetrical color or slight differences between eyes are not flaws, but are part of the nature of handmade goods. Please understand your own expectations, and whether you can accept these small imperfections or not.

In-stock Eyes

Premium - $15
Premium quality eyes have very few flaws and the best definition of the iris. Small flaws may include tiny non-distracting bubbles, slight roughness to the sclera, tiny dust particles and so on. The flaws will not be noticeable when in use.



Seconds - $10
These eyes have minor flaws that prevent them from qualifying as premium eyes, but they are still entirely usable and will look great on your doll. These flaws include bubbles deemed too large to be acceptable for premium eyes, uneven surfaces on the sclera, unwanted inclusions like larger dust particles, different dome heights (only noticeable outside the head), and so on.



Goofy Goobers -$5
These eyes have flaws. They might not meet my standards, but they're also too good for the trash. Eyes will be wearable, but flaws may or may not be noticeable in use.


Custom Eyes
If you have a request for custom eyes, please contact me. Right now I can offer only 12mm eyes with 5mm iris, 14mm eyes with 5mm iris, or 16mm eyes with 6mm iris. These are small iris sizes, and will lend a more realistic look to a doll. Choose high or low dome. Manufacturing/processing time starts once order details are finalized and payment has been received. If ordering more than one pair of eyes, the manufacturing time may be longer. I will let you know ahead of time if I expect your order to take longer than usual.

Basic Premium: A Premium-quality pair of eyes, up to three colors, standard iris. Mismatched basic eyes included. Usually one to two weeks manufacturing/processing time. -$15​

Complex Premium: A Premium-quality pair of eyes, four or more colors, colored sclera, non- standard iris. Includes mismatched eyes where one eye is basic and the other is complex. Usually one to two weeks manufacturing/processing time -$20 to $30​

Special Eyes: A Premium-quality pair of eyes with complicated requests, such as clouding of the lens, scars, shapes in the iris, very particularly placed colors and so on. Includes mismatched eyes where one eye is basic or complex and the other is special. Usually two to three weeks manufacturing/processing time. $40 and higher.​

All custom orders include a non-refundable $10 deposit for materials in the price. Acceptance of custom orders is based upon the complexity of the request and the availability of time and supplies. For example, if you want a red sclera but I don’t have red resin pigment at that moment, I’d tell you I couldn't currently make the red sclera and when I expect to be able to fulfill the commission. Seconds and rejected custom orders may be sold to recoup costs.

Keep track of your orders, because if you buy 9 pairs of Premium- or Second-quality eyes, the tenth is free. Choose from any in-stock Premium eyes for your free pair. Just pay shipping, or toss the free pair in with your next order. Proof of purchase required.

Ordering, Shipping, and Payment
Please order via DM. Shipping will be done via DHL, and shipping options will vary based upon the location of the buyer. In your initial contact, please let me know where you are so I can give you shipping quotes. With Corona, shipping is more expensive than usual, so please keep that in mind. In general, shipping for several pairs of eyes within the EU will be about $5 without tracking and insurance, and about $8 with insurance and tracking. Please understand that if you choose shipping without tracking or insurance, I am not responsible if the package gets lost in the mail. I would highly advise choosing insurance and tracking. For payment, I accept only Paypal.

 

Eye Information

Dome Options
High or low domes. Low domes will fit in more eye wells, and are especially good for dolls with small eyes or shallow eye holes. High domes create a more sparkly effect in the eye, and sort of "magnify" the details of the iris. High dome is left, low dome is right.
