I really need an anatomy for artists handbook. He's got spider porportions because his arms and legs are about the same length, but the balls are a lot better this time.

 

Yes he is a cone 6 ceramic stoneware, the blue surface is a technique called terra sigillate I posted detailed instructions on how to create the suspended particle for the sigg in my blog. If anyone is working in ceramic clay bodies this is a great way to do a full body treatment without the work of staining the actual clay.
I'm still not sure if accurate anatomy is really something I want in my work, but looking at everyone's beautiful cast dolls it makes me aspire to a higher method of craftsmanship.

Mason Stains are added to the white sigg, I used the ratio 2tsp stain to 1 cup of sigg, and it was a Robin's egg blue, with shell pink for the palms and feet. =^.^'=

 

And the tattoos are two separately fired layers of china paint
