Guidelines for Posting Patterns

The Patterns area is the home for all patterns, whether they are for sewing, knitting, crochet, wig making or prop making.

For Pattern Posters:
Please start a new thread for each pattern. Give the thread a title that describes the item and doll size.

In your post, state clearly what size of doll the pattern is made to fit, list the materials you used and any instructions that are not printed on the pattern. If you have modified a pattern made by someone else or scaled down a human-sized pattern please be courteous and give credit where it is due.

Please note - you may only share patterns if the original creator is OK with them being distributed for free. You may not copy patterns from copyrighted materials (ie books and magazines) and redistribute them.

For Pattern Users:
Feel free to ask questions in the pattern thread if you need help with the instructions. You may also post a photo of items you have made using the pattern in that thread. It's a nice way to say thank you and show members other examples of the finished item. Any chat that does not contain a question or a photo will be deleted after three months to keep threads tidy.

For Pattern Seekers:
If you are searching for a pattern you don't see here, need help with an offsite pattern, or have questions about re-scaling patterns, please post in the general Styling & Crafting forum. This allows members to post links to patterns into your inquiry thread and keeps the Pattern forum uncluttered. Each thread in this subforum should start with an answer rather than a question.
