Hi! I'm from Hungary. I already have my doll for more than half a year, but I've only been lurking on the forum until now. I first got interested in BJDs in high school (I even sculpted two strange heads from some air dry clay ), and then I kind of forgot about it. But then somehow I found BJDs again, and finally bought a Xaga Doll Zoe boy. (And before he even arrived, a Switch Ajeong head...) I researched everything, so that I'll know what I'm getting myself into, and because I like learning a lot about my interests, and now I joined the forum to learn even more. Some things about myself: - I like animals, especially cats (my younger self would have loved anthro dolls) - I like art, photography, writing - I love Japanese music (and I'm not that actively into it, but I also enjoy manga and anime) It would be nice to find someone from Hungary (since I couldn't find any active Hungarian online doll community) or from Japan (I learnt Japanese, and I'm curious what the doll scene is like there), but of course I'm open to getting to know any nice person.
Hello and welcome to both the forum and the hobby! I’m in Austria, so not too far off from you (I do speak a little Hungarian thanks to my Hungarian parents, but I sadly never learned to read or write it…) but I’ve seen a few collectors from Hungary on Instagram.
Hi! That's nice that you know Hungarian. Since the writing is mostly phonetic, I think it's not too hard to learn how to read. The writing can be tricky though, but only if you want to write super correctly, that honestly most Hungarians can't do without help, so it's not that important. Well, I'm not on Instagram, though I considered making a doll account. Maybe I will when my photo skills get better. Oh, and I remember visiting your website when I was looking at face ups. Those body blushings and tattoos are especially nice. I'm also interested in trying it in the future.
Hi, fellow Hungarian! Regarding a local community: there was a forum, but it's gone now and I don't know what happened to it. There's a group on FB, though! Oh, Zoe looks so sweet. I hope you'll have fun here!
Hi! It's nice to see another Hungarian. I've read about the Facebook group, but they wrote that it's not very active.
