I haven't given my Baishan a face-up yet, but here he is with the box his replacement hand came in.


It's a little big for just a hand...

 

I don't think I ever shared this here--but here's a pic of my Lucifer in a borrowed wig & outfit next to my Limhwa ToYou! The outfit was sized to fit Fashion Royalty men, and it fits pretty ok--the waist is too big, but the length is good. The shirt fits well. I couldn't fit him into any of the 1/6 man shoes I have on hand... His heels get in the way. :/ Shoes that lace up or are cloth and not plastic might work.



And a bonus of just his unpainted face... those eyes are also borrowed and WAY too big. I haven't really had the chance to do much with the poor boy yet. Possibly interesting side note, the wig was one I made for a Parabox Miroku (a vinyl head designed to go on Obitsu 27cm slim male bodies). It fits pretty decently, though it's prone to falling off.

 

Thanks! It's a really nice shirt--I got it from this Taobao shop. (I hope that link works...) Their stuff is really nice quality! I have a couple of dresses from there too for my girls. I highly recommend them!

 

Oh, man, those tiny tools are adorable. Now he can do all the chores.

I am slowly but surely finalizing my own dude - SOME DAY I will have both the time and the energy to finish his half-made wig, and then I just have to put him all together. (I moved the snap fastener on his jeans without taking them off! Little headless half-naked dude dangling butt-upright while I stitch away...)

 

I have one in tan skin. He is still waiting for his make-up. I like the tan skin since that i can make a setting form him, local people i the jungle or some other southern islands .This is just my imagination lol.

Oh, no! I love the new Napoleon! And in the 31cm size too. Gee, now I’m torn. Guess I’ll have to look into this crowd funding thingy. Not that I need anymore anything. He so handsome...

 

@SteamWitch I totally agree! I just wish I had a bigger dolly fund. I hate having to choose. Time limiteds are awful!

 

I'm planning on joining as well! I was sad I missed the Lucifer pre-order, and then Lucifer was released again but not as a 31.5cm option. But is layaway possible after joining the pre-order?

 

Do I have to wait until it's supported by 5 people to use layaway, or can I choose layaway when the remaining payment is requested? I know the value has to be at least $300 for layaway, so I have to purchase either a different skin tone (not necessarily a problem, I like the sunshine resin) or eyes/wig?

 

OH MY RA. I've been eyeing this size since Lucifer, but painting on such a small face had scared the wits out of me, so I backed out with a reluctance that stills burns me to this day. But since Napoleon actually comes with a face-up option despite his small size, I'm finally gonna get my wee tiny man.

Though, many apologies for the daft question, I know it's been asked before but I can't find where it was stated; what size wig did Lucifer typically take? Would it be similar to, say, the Fairyland Pukipuki size?

 

I recommend Monique company size 4. My guy curently has a size 4 from Fatio.

 

I just joined the crowdfunding for Napoleon! I was gonna give myself a day or two to think about it, but I couldn't resist, I just love his face, and a tiny one sounds perfect to me lol

I've sort of figured that I'd probably have to either trim an existing long wig to achieve the look I'm going for, or I'd have to make a wig myself, but I'll probably take a look see at Monique wigs, thanks a bunch too, Leo Pheonix!

Does anyone know where to get eyes that fit lucifer? I bought sone, but they’re really gappy. Ideally I’d like cheaper ones... ☹️

 

@Spuggey: mine is wearing 6mm eyes from Dreaming Tree Studio, which were priced really reasonably. They don't seem to gap at all - or, if they do, the gap is super tiny and I can't see it, which is almost as good!

I just got the eyes I ordered from Dreaming Tree! Idk how well they'll fit because Napoleon won't be here for a long while I'm sure, but I'll be ready when he gets here and the eyes are super cute, so I'm happy with them.

 

I did it! I was able to order a Napoleon! So happy I get to join you all!

Now to go back and re read this thread again as this time I need to pay attention to what fits, lol.

 

My Baishan has eyes from Dreaming Tree too. They're 6mm and fit perfectly.

 

Thank you for the eye sizes! I have some Dreaming Tree eyes in 4 and 6mm. I’ll have a few to choose from, but usually the doll demands their own new pair. I’m planning on making a yarn wig. I really enjoy making that type of wig. Especially for tiny heads.

 

Now that the ordering period is over, I’m getting excited to get my guy!
Plus all these fantastic pictures by @SteamWitch are helping too!

I have to support the recommendation for Dreamingtree Studio eyes as well! I bought a couple of pairs for Dante, and I absolutely love them! They're a great fit. I was worried they'd look too dark (I have had bad luck with small eyes and catching light) but I was wrong! The pair he ended up keeping are in Driftwood. I also got a pair in Russet, but as these are all perfect for Dante I'm not sure who I'll use them for. Napoleon perhaps?

 

Me too! It must be getting close. I heard a regular sized Napoleon head has been mailed. I’d almost forgot about mine. Almost, lol.

 

Oh, boy, now Granado is crowdfunding for a female doll, and one of the options for 'Jane' is 29cm! She looks really cute, and the body looks like it's got some quality jointing - I'm giving this one some thought.

 

I'm considering her, too. There's pictures of a prototype body, but only CG images of the head sculpt.
