I've had that happen with Granado! They ship and then update the system a few days later!

I don’t get the option of a BBcode - I think that’s my issue. I’m using a phone so maybe that’s why. I shall investigate.

Aha. I had to request the desktop option to get a BBcode … if this works it should be a photo of 3 dolls plus San bottom right. I was trying to work out which doll would resemble him more and my daughters both said bottom left ( I can’t visualise so I needed the photo to be able to tell lol )
Do you think Lucent is a good enough match?

@Blubell Shows like a champ! You're getting the new 32 body, right? Which means Lucent or Noah would be better size-wise. Of those, definitely Lucent is better. Much more Asian look to it. Crocus doesn't seem to do any round faces.

 

I think Lucifer and Noah were identified as the largest heads.

 

Yes the evolve I think it was called. That’s what I thought about Lucent too. Noah actually reminds me of Chen from Exo ( should I put a photo ? Nah dont want to annoy you all with loads of photos )

 

Does anyone know how the size of the tiny dolls compares to a Barbie? I made a jumper but it was really tight on the neck so if I make more I’d like to change the neckline but if Lucent’s head is significantly smaller I might not have to change it too much. This is what I made ( I didn’t post it here as it’s on a Barbie )

If you mean the 15cm version of Lucent, then he's much smaller than Barbie! I don't know about the 32cm Ascent body vs Barbie specifically, but both the Adagio and Vigor bodies are much broader across the shoulder and have a bit thicker necks.

Requiem Art has a guide to sizing for most common (in the US anyway) fashion dolls that might help you, here! You can compare that to the listed measurements on Granado's website. I know I personally can only get so far with seeing numbers, but it's a good place to start.

 

Hi no the 32cm is the one I wanted. No idea why Granado calls them tiny models when they have even smaller ones available lol.

That's so pretty! Since you're knitting it, all you really need is the chest, arm and shoulder measurements. I'd be inclined to make the neck open at the back, or a v-neck if you don't intend to take the head off, however, taking the head off is pretty easy. They don't have the evolve measurements up yet, but I'd think you could take them off the 32 Adagio, which does have measurements, and be close enough for a jumper.

 

V-neck is my next project I’d like clothes to be as realistic as possible so I’m avoiding keeping it open at the back. I’ve found another bind off that might work so I’ll give it a try.

Oh my gosh the inside of the box is so cute! I just ordered a Lucifer during the New Years event and I can’t wait to get him. I feel like I’m in for a wait, though!

 

I managed to snag a garden head on a 30zen body and I was wondering if anyone had experience with the body in particular in terms of clothing? I have no trouble finding clothing for my tiny 1/6 females but male clothing is like pulling teeth without him here yet

Does anyone know if it's still possible to order the elusive Jane head with the 29cm body? All I see is Bonnie - but I would love a Jane!
Presumably, Jane's head has eye holes?

 

@MaleficentMrsofEvil They did sell Jane, but I don't think it's possible to order her right now! You could certainly email to ask, though. Crocus is pretty nice about it, and the worst that'll happen is he says no. I did email the other day to ask if the eye hole version of Bonnie was still planned for release. (And she is! Someday.)

Ah, thank you! I made the shirt and tie (which is why the tie is so weird, haha). I've been on a real sewing kick for the last month... Des has a lot of things now. He's just so easy to sew for! I love the Adagio body for this.

It’s time for me to make my final payment for my Lucent and I need to decide whether I need the set of extra hands or if they’re not necessary. Does anyone have them ? Does anyone not have them and regret not having them?

 

I've been planning to buy them for a while, for what that's worth @Blubell! I've passed up getting them a few times now and I'm always struck with regret afterwards...

I ordered this custom wig made in China and finally it arrive after like months and months of waiting. I also ordered another custom wig from another diff. seller in China through an agent and waited 9 months and the seller decided don't want to do and got my money back, this makes me soo mad bec. I am looking forward to his/her short hair wig. Does anyone know anybody else that can make cool wigs for these size doll ? I don't like going through middlemen. I have seen many cool wigs made by people in Asia and hard to get them bec. I have to go through an agent.

 

Oh no! That's so unfortunate about your wig @chinadoll... I don't know anyone who makes wigs in this size outside of Asia (I don't even know of anyone IN Asia, and would be interested in any links anyone has!) because I make my own... But ugh, that's such a disappointment after all that wait! The wig you DID get looks great though! And I love those jeans--where are those from, if you don't mind my asking?

 

I waited about 9 months then seller decided not going to do it, which made me soo mad. The wig is alot shorter than what I currently have and was going to be perfect on one of my boys. Now I am still hunting for short wigs , but have to be very cool looking. I got all of the Granado tiny stuff all in China, have to go through 42agent, also the wait is loooooong.

There is a new 15cm doll!
Most importantly, the announcement said: "Request Options: Eyes, Makeup service, Hands & Feet Pack."

That means I don't have to wreck my brain to find someone who can customise 15cm doll!
I wonder if I can add makeup service to my previous 15Lucent order...

I also asked if there is body blushing for 15Ascent and they said 'Yes'!

 

really want a 15cm to my collection but money is tight right now hope they will make them again after September or so.

 

The 15Ascent guy is a need! He is so small! I kind of want the sealed eyes, but I am intrigued by the open ones... No idea how eyes would work at that scale at all. It's probably not do-able and yet I kind of want to try. My 1:12 scale synthetic human has movable eyes, so it might be somewhat doable? I guess worse case is maybe painting some small eyes on blank balls? I think I might just ask for two heads... :/

Oh nice!! I really love the tiny guys, although I don't think they fit into my collection plans atm—so I really hope everyone who gets one all share yours! Let me live vicariously. A shame the painted face ones (Shadow and Ninth) are off-topic for DoA... But it does look like the body will always be available, same as their other bodies! (So maybe the heads, too, it looks like? Since they just come together.) Maybe if they're popular enough he'll keep releasing open eyed heads?

No wonder , so far I have total 3 orders in total stuck then. Not going to order anything right now that is coming out of China very difficult to tell when it’s going on lock down

 

I wasn't interested in the 15cm dolls, but then I realized they'd be the perfect size to take up residence in a dollhouse, and I've loved miniatures since I was a small child. Now I want one.

I have two Fairyland Real Puki with dollhouses in progress, but they are closer to 4 inches than 6, so all the furniture isn't quite the right size.

 

I am excited to see how my tiny guys work with my dollhouse furniture!

 

I'm SO tempted by the 15cm boys for this reason! There's so much good 1:12 stuff... I'm trying to be good but it's so hard. I'm glad they at least aren't on a limited order period, so I have time to hem and haw. (Especially because Metis makes a few 12cm dolls I could get to go with... Slapping my own hand!!)

 

I added faceups tomy prior Granado 15cm order so I will have to wait a bit more for my boys. But I do have a Metis 12cm boy and girl and I do want to see how they look together!

 

Please share pics of them together when you do! (And feel free to share pics of the smaller ones generally... They're so cute and I never see owner pics.)

The 11th anniversary event is up! And there's 1.5 new girls! (I say "1.5" because Bonnie was released previously, but with sealed eyes only so she was off-topic for DoA. But the open eyed version is available now!) The new-new girl is Bayou, and they're both just so completely beautiful!

I'm so excited to finally get Bonnie, I've been waiting for the released of the open-eyed version of her since she was initially released! She's great for a character of mine. AND I can buy her eyes right from Granado in the right color--so no eye hunting!
