GRANADO Body What Fits Discussion Thread

I'd like to recommend Guess SD-size jeans for the 64cm guys. Really nice fit!

I've been trying things on my Sidonia. She is not too much bigger than the old large busted Elfdoll girls, but she's a different shape. Her shoulders are broad and waist is small. I have her in an SD16-sized qipao from Stacy's Pink Ocean, and it's not too bad.

I hope to take pictures of them in different outfits and post them soon.

 

I recommend some Volks Dollfie Dream size clothes for Sidonia. And she can fit some SD16 clothes too.

 

Be careful with the SD13 pants for the 64cm body! He really has very beefy thighs which make fitting pants a little troublesome. I bought him SD13 (long leg) pants from Tree Design ( these ones: http://boulevardbjd.com/boulevard/p.../1916?osCsid=a7c228c927bcba3c47edc1b6f221f853) and they won't come up over his thighs! I think maybe Senior Delf would have fit better.
But SD17 tops and jackets fit great!

 

hoping to bring this back to life....I hope to be getting one of the 64 boy bodies in the next few weeks and it only just occurred to me that he won't have clothes D:

This is a SODA outfit - SD16 on the Granado Nuevo body. The skirt is a perfect fit - the top just a smidgin large but I believe it still looks good on her.

 

I agree..as I have an SD-13 outfit from Dollheart and the pants fit but the sleeves are a tad short on the arms. I have an SD-17 from Dollheart and it is a perfect fit. I find my SD-13s sometime fit depending on the company. My Soom super gem items fit my Granado 64 - and that Soom body is a bit thinner, so was surprised they fit. My Iplehouse SID jeans fit nicely.

 

I tried a Switch "Oh!myChef" outfit on Boyd (64cm body), the shirt is tight but it can fit. (It could not button up around the chest.)
However, the pants cannot fit, it's too tight for him.

How does the 64cm body fit Senior Delf clothes? Both tops and bottoms. ^^

 

I have some "what fits" info for the 68cm body - which I love, BTW!

I had bought two Dollheart outfits for him - "My Mother Has Killed Me - Father" (70cm) and "Crooked Cat" (SD17). The 70cm fit wonderfully - no issues at all. The SD17 all fit, but it was a little scary getting the pantalettes over his calves, and the jacket will only fit if there's no shirt under it. I guess I need a sleeveless dress shirt.

He fit into a pair of Volks SD shoes I'd been meaning to sell, because I thought they looked too big on my UH-11 - I'm glad now I kept them! The shoes aren't on the website anymore, but they're a regular black leather dress shoe with laces. They're even a little bit loose, with socks, but the proportion is great (not like clown shoes).

He also fit in a pair of Dollheart steampunk boots for SD, but I couldn't get them zipped all the way on his calves - he has some major calves. I'd love to find some boots that fit - I guess I need SD boots with wide tops.

I'm definitely going to keep my eyes open for more Dollheart 70cm outfits for him. Hope this helps!

 

Yes... those calves.... *sigh* If they weren't so damn hot, I'd spend my time cursing them. ^^

I've found that with boots, it is best to buy ones that lace up in the front - even if there is a zipper in the back. That way you can loosen the laces to accommodate his bulk. As an example, my 68cm body is currently wearing these boots. They tie at the front and zip up at the back. Once I adjusted the lacing, they fit like a dream.

 

Good tip! I'll keep my eyes open for the ones with laces.

 

Shoes I made for my Soom Supergem boys (old body, at least) fit perfectly on my Granado 64cm "old" body.

As I mentioned, the 68cm long leg body can wear Luts SSD size clothes. The Nuevo body CANNOT. It is just too big everywhere. I have a very very stretch top on the nuevo body that is part of an angell-studio set but I can't remember where the pants are from.

My girl is on the Nuevo body and she can fit into Soom Super Gem girl clothes.

Derp, I should have known that! I have a slightly stretchy pair of pants originally sized for a Supergem guy, and those are the pants Aiden (64cm body) inherited out of the collective wardrobe stash. They do fit him very well.

 

I'm considering buy a boy from Granado and wanted the nuevo body. This thread is really being helpful.

 

Anyone have a new 64 size and freedom teller/ sadol input?

Hows the fit? Obviously my Mads will be needing some suit pron and those two places are my dealers of choice. Everyone is telling me the 68 body is true sd17 sized but I was wondering ow the 64 body lined up.

I have 64cm Chaka & Nuevo girl Void.f for reference. Sorry for the wordy post.

Freedom Teller - SD17 (Success blue) suit jacket fits him wonderfully. Pants are a little big in the waist & a tiny bit too long but you might want this if you want him to sit and move and not have his pants ride up too high. Even though the pants are a tiny bit big it doesn't look baggy or distracting and if your boy will wear a jacket and shoes you won't notice it.

SD13 (Eaton School) - This also fit BUT I think they miss marked the size & or size variance because it fit him like the SD17 stuff. The standard SD13 slim wool pants fit him really well. Just note that because of his thighs, you can see a tiny bit of the musculature. The pant leg falls right at the top of the foot when standing, so when sitting you will see a lot more of the ankle (with SD17 pants you see less, they fall more like traditional human slacks).

Shirts - SD17 fit him beautifully and the sleeves are perfect. The shirts are very tailored to the body but not too tight to inhibit posing. FT shirts are my favourite.

For reference I have the Success Blue suit, Eaton suit, Equestrian set, slim fit wool pants and assorted shirts.

Sadol - Right now I only have shirts, cardigan, sweater in SD17. On shirts the sleeves are a tad short and do ride up/get short looking when you pose the arms and not as tailored as the FT shirts. They fit a tiny bit looser but they are still lovely. Nothing to note about the sweater/cardigan, they fit well, sleeves are all fine. Although with the crew neck sweater you do need to remove the head.

Other - I have tried to squeeze him in SD13 & SD17 pants from a number of companies. Skinny fit pants may or may not give you the effect you want or fit because he has beefy legs. I only point this out only cause there are a number of gorgeous slim suits from Sadol and FT, where slim pants may not work as planned.

Also my boy is headless at the moment but should have his head back next week. I can take ref pics if you like with or without head. Let me know.

 

Pants can be iffy on the 64cm body. People have said he fits SD13 pants, that is not necessarily true, I think he's more in between than one or the other. I personally like SD17 size on him because I don't particularly like guys in skin tight jeans, and he's got lots of room to bend in a bigger size.

v These here jeans are SD17/70cm size I got off Ebay.

My only complaint about the SD17/70cm size is the length.

v These just look goofy to me. The same jeans as above in SD13 size.

The length is okay when standing, but his ultra round knees make them ride up alot when his legs bend. They also fit okay on his bum when standing but too tight when sitting.

v TTYA jeans SD13. These are baggy on top, skinny on bottom. Top fits, bottom not even close.

His calves kinda got wedged in there, I couldn't even pull them up all the way. These also have no stretch to them at all.

SD13 sized sweat pants from TTYA fit him nicely though.

I also have a pair of SD17/70cm slim pants (not jeans) from nine9style that fit him really good around his thighs and calves but have major saggy bum, I think because the waist is made way too high in the back.

 

It looks like JID boy size from Iplehouse will fit Terra fairly well, although not perfectly. I put a post here in the mini thread.

 

I just got an SD17 sized suit jacket from Sadol and it's too tight around my 64cm guy's back and shoulders, it restricts his arm movement. So I would definitely go with Super Senior Delf size next time as their measurements seem to be a bit bigger.

 

How about SID sized things? Freedom Teller does stuff for that size as well

 

My boy wears some Freedom Teller stuff. He's 64cm. I have a suit, a few pants and shirts in SD17.

That's bummer to hear about Sadol jackets being too tight but I guess if I leave it open it might be okay? Etreya which style did you get?

The jacket looks okay. It buttons up, but it's tight on the shoulders making it a bit of a squeeze to get over a shirt, and his arms are difficult to move.

 

Aernath for Min-ho...what tight shirt?...but yep, I haven't had luck with TTYA fitting my Granado boy either (pants wise) but for the nuevo girl, the SD17 pants fit and don't cut movement.

Etreya - Your boy looks great, thanks for the update info. That's a total bummer that it's too restrictive.

 

Here are my experiences so far. Others will be able to add to this list, I'm sure. ^__^ And let us know if you find more stuff for these guys! The Nuevo body is still... well,... New so we're still trying things out here and there.

I would not recommend nYID pants unless they come up with a style that is wider in the legs. The Nuevo body has killer calves.
These are far too snug. They can be forced over the Nuevo legs, but then the waist is baggy, and I'm in constant fear that he's going to blow a leg seam. The things are skin-tight all the way from mid-thigh to just above the ankle. You can see in Iple's photo, they look comfortably wide in the leg for the nYID boy, so I suspect we won't see much wider legs in the others. I also have these and these, and the fit is the same.

I have gotten some SoulDoll Zenith boy pants to fit, although still very snugly over those killer calves, and SoulDoll seldom releases new clothing for their lines, so finding what you're looking for (no matter the style) is difficult. Plus, they haven't sold pants separately yet.

I currently have my Nuevo-bodied boy in some jeans that I believe are from Alice's Collections or mybayer2008 on ebay, for 70cm boys. The fit over the calves is less snug, and I'm not as worried that my boy's going to pop a seam during a photo shoot.
He is, however, able to fit nYID tops nicely. Seen here with the jeans from AC/mybayer2008 (70cm), a shirt from TTYA (60cm) - snug in the shoulders and way tight in the sleeves, but good-looking!, and this nYID jacket from Iple.

The jeans are old, and I can't find them in either place, but these on mybayer2008 are similar, as are these on AC.

 

Hi. Are SSDF or Sd17 outfits a better fit for the 68cm body? I found a lovely outfit on taobao where you can order either of these sizes so I‘d prefer to get a more accurate fit as much as possible.

 

So would Iplehouse EID stuff be way too big for the 68cm or Nuevo body? I would love to know if I were to bring one of these guys home if he could wear what I've got, or if I'd have to find new stuff.

Edit: shoes too...I have one pair of EID boots, too big? Or perfect?

 

EID waaaaaaay too big. Everywhere! lol Even SID pants are huge in the waist, though the length is good. Regular SD13 sized shoes are a good fit for the 68cm boy. His feet measure 7.8cm long by 3cm wide. Basically, the oYID size.
These guys are fairly slender in the top half, but those calves are killer. They're 14.3cm around at the widest, and the thighs are 15.5cm. So they're almost as thick in the calf as they are in the thigh. Makes finding pants that fit the calves, as well as the rest of his lower half, a challenge. Most things that fit the calf are too big in the waist, and if it fits the waist, it won't go over those calves.


Note: Those pants I showed earlier on my Nuevo boy? Looks like they're actually from Dollmore - Model Man pants!

Okay, I can now confirm three more pair of Dollmore Model Man pants as fitting both the 68cm and the Nuevo boy bodies.
The waists are just a touch wide for both bodies, but the belts that come with the pants take care of that.

These are a bit long, but it's easy to just hem pants up. Far easier than trying to make them longer! lol
These are also a touch form fitting around the thunder calves of the Granado boys, but they do fit over them without the fear of seams popping.

Speaking of Dollmore, I tried some Model woman clothes on the female 62cm and Nuevo bodies. The shoulders are too narrow, but they fit everywhere else.

 

I forgot to say that I wouldn't go for any of the "Skinny pants". I suspect they would be really snug around the thunder calves.

Adding a little more fitting info. (EDIT: Derp. Forgot to mention that this is the Nuevo body.)
Looks like Volks SD17 would be fine, if it were a cm wider in the shoulders and chest. He can be squeezed in, but there's no room for movement.
Pants are good (thankfully they go over those mega calves!), but a little loose in the waist. With a shirt tucked in, they're fine. Even better with a belt.

MAds has arrived. He's on a 68cm body. His Freedom Teller SD17 suit pants DO NOT fit. not even close.The jacket, vest and shirts are fine. I've sent pictures to ftrrdomtellet.net to see if they have any suggestions.

 

Wow. Good to know! I knew they made pants a little skinny, but... my goodness. I swear the suit my boy's wearing is a Volks SD17, and there's a ton more room in them than that!
At least the top half things fit!

 

That's disappointing. Or maybe it's a good thing. If they start making clothes specifically for Granado guys, I'm doomed.

 

Just get my stuff from Tata and can definitely say that SD16 girl trousers and SD13 boy tops are fitting good to female nuevo body. Lower part of cardigan may be a little bit small, but looks good on her. Also 1/3 sneakers from Alice's Collection are perfectly fine with flat feet.

 

Do the heeled feet on the male bodies actually fit SD16 shoes?

 

Perhaps a bit late, but I have a pair of SD16 heels from tata, and he does not come close to fitting in. I forgot exactly why, but the length of the feet is too long, and likely (not too sure without checking again), width of feet is too wide. I can't say the same for other SD16 shoes though, since I only have 1 pair.

Also, just to add, my Granado Nuevo fits in TTYA's SD17 jackets, but not the SD17 pants. I got a pair of SD17/70cm (that's the size the shop cites) of loose cut jeans that look straight cut on him too. And he can wear SSDF shirts.

 

*sigh* Another dream smashed on the rocks of reality.
Still waiting for the boy to ship... reading through this and I swear that it read somewhere here, or the website, that the Nuevo male was SD17 on the top and SD 13 on the bottom.

 

I'm late to the party, but is there anything that remotely fits the Granado Titan? I heard that Iplehouse EID shirts fit but not the pants. What about HID stuff?

 

I think HID shirts fit Titan a lil bit.
I am not sure about pants.

Interesting. As much as I adore the thicker build of the Titan, he just doesn't fit anything.

Speaking of which, does anyone have an idea on the release schedule Granado has for clothes? I figure the original company is the best source for fit, but their choices are a little corny at times. *looking at you Awin leopard suit*

 

I think you can order their clothes anytime. I think you have to message them about it. I ordered a Saturn last month and I'm on the hunt for clothes too . I hope they'll be more clothes in the future for Titans.

 

How often do they re-release heads? I'm dying for an Awin.

 

I got lucky and ordered him on dolkus
I thought they had him in stock but they didn't and at first they canceled my order, but then they emailed me and said they could order him for me. ^^ also I hear Granado's taobao site has a lot of their dolls avaible but you have to get a taobao service.
I don't know when they'll rerelease their Titans but they did some Titans in December...

 

Ugh, my poor luck strikes again. Probably for the best though since kitten bills gouged me already.

 

Has anyone had any luck with shoes for the Nuevo? I'm specifically looking for black dress shoes. I'm not having any luck with anything smaller than 9.5cm. :/
