    1. Hi there! Littlejester here :3nodding:. I'm originally a figure collector. I also collect other stuff as well (> <)

      Been wanting to buy a doll since the early 2000s but didn't had a chance to do so. First doll I ever wanted to buy back done was the Delf El from Luts.

      The plan is to just get 1 doll since I only have 1 OC in mind since way way back - a jester or harlequin in reference of Kozi from Malice Mizer (an old disbanded Japanese visual kei band). I was very meticulous in choosing the right head sculpt and usually when I see and plan to buy one, it gets sold out fast.

      A friend then told me that her friend was selling a Charmdoll Carson that she bought but wasn't able to open (they lost interest when the doll arrived). Decided to get the doll after further discussion. The doll will arrive hopefully before March since my friend is still doing his face-up. So there!

      I might do upgrades within the year or next year, let's see. But hopefully I stick to just 1 doll. ( > <)

    2. Hello! I'm Kumo!

      Ohhh I remember Malice Mizer! I was into visual kei and jpop and all back in the early 2000s, too, and also discovered BJDs around the same time. I can't wait to see the visual kei look!

      Carson looks so handsome, omg. I don't have a Charmdoll but a lot of them tempt me. I wanted... a couple dolls, but now I'm up to maybe 15 and I want to stop there lol. Definitely difficult with some of the beautiful designs out there.

      I was also a visual kei fan and I remember Malice Mizer being one of the most visually impressionable bands. I was surprised but also not that surprised that there is an official Mana-sama BJD!

      Like you, I had planned for only one doll, but then the re-release of a limited sculpt recently had me going, "aw, I guess I'll have to make her gf too!" At most, I could imagine adding 2 more to my collection for a total of 4 after seeing a really nice muscle lady body introduced to me today :sweat

      Carson is a great first doll! And you will no doubt have a deeper connection to him from how you will acquire him as well!

    4. Wow 15? That's really a lot! :o Are you making sure that all of them are out of the box all the time or just choose who to be with at a certain time? :o And yes, gotta agree that sometimes its hard to resist when companies or dollmakers show those new lovely designs and I'm just, oh no ><

      Thank you so much! I was kind of anxious at first since someone ask me if I was sure to go for a 71 cm as my first doll. But I've been trying to check around and Carson really has a great face so I'm really excited as well! :D

    6. Oh, I remember Kozi from Malice Mizer! I used to listen to their music all the time, before and after Gackt. They made the best music videos! Your doll is going to look awesome! I hope you take a lot of pictures!

    7. I have several still in boxes because I want to do their face-ups myself. I have to wait till spring to do it outside, though, because it's too cold for sealant and paint in the winter, lol. I'll need to invest in a nice display case or shelves or something sooner or later, though. In the meanwhile, the ones who are presentable just sort of float around from table to table where I can see them.

      Also, when I play D&D over discord with cameras on, the blur filter will actually facial-recognize my dolls' faces and un-blur them :XD: My friends think it's weird, so I have to have someone next to me when I'm on camera just for them :mwahaha

    8. Oh that's just fun! Its nice to see people faces and reaction when that happens :XD:

      Yeah I think have a display case would be the best, that's actually what I was thinking but let's see what happens in the future!
