USAGI:
… So Phae, you will marry Zyfan?

PHAE:
Yes I hope so. I want to very much. I'm in love with him.

USAGI:
Love has nothing to do with marriage,
not when you're to become part of a ruling family.

PHAE:
But, don't you love Washi?


USAGI:
It was not love that brought us together. We were married to unite two
fighting nations. This is how things are done among our people.


PHAE::
Well, this is different. Zyfan can chose who he wants to marry.

USAGI:
So I've been told, but then there's that consort of his to consider.

PHAE:
You mean Karanthir?


USAGI:
I have met him. I've also seen how Zyfan looks at him. This consort
has influence over the prince. And I don't believe their relationship is
limited to sex. I fear you will have your work cut out for you


PHAE:
Everyone thinks I'm too naïve to see what Karanthir is to Zyfan but
I know what I'm getting myself into. He will choose me for his wife
- I know he will, and I'll be proud to accept him and his consort.

I love Grace too ( she's the easiest, of all of my characters, to write for - lol). And she don't take crap from anyone, not even a tall, menacing, elf. Qualina is such a gracious hostess, isn't she … and then there's Phae, she's going to have to get on the good side of Karanthir is she really wants to get anywhere with the prince.

Thank you! Oh my the furniture. I'm always on the lookout for stuff that would work for them. I bought a lot on ebay, sometimes thrift stores, garage sales - you name it, I've looked there. This set is not actually a set, the table and hutch came together (I had to make the table taller). The benches are bear furniture and I can't remember the brand name right now, maybe Lloyds? They were painted some crazy colors - so everything got sanded and repainted to match. I still want to add cushions. Glad you like.
