    2. Very interesting, I wonder how the turnout for Dollfie Dream owners will be?

    3. Looking forward to it :)

    4. Ooh! I'm totally gonna be there. :D

    5. Looks like I'll be able to get the day off from work! :D

    6. I'll most likely be going too! I couldn't make it to the real GoGaDoll but I'm glad I will be able to attend this mini event. It should be fun.

    7. So am going! >w<

    8. Will there be more information up soon?
like will there be events, panels, etc.
I think I should be able to attend. :)

    9. Too excited. I was so sad there would be no Goga this year. So this is just a meet up then. Sorry I am sure more information will be posted soon.

    10. Consider posting a thread on 'Meetups' looking for other Dollfie Dream owners at GoGaDoll Lite! It would be a hoot to see a gaggle of these dolls lined up for a photo op!

      Alex

    11. This should be fun! :D

The Duboce park area is so nice, lots of nearby cafes, restaurants and corner stores if anyone wants to buy a picnic lunch when they get to the area or grab a coffee.

    12. I'll be there!

    13. I'm so happy you guys are doing this ^__^ I also was very disappointed that there was no GoGaDoll this year, so this is a lovely way to still get together :D Can't wait ^^

    14. I'll be there!

    15. Also, one stop before Duboce Park (and 2.50 blocks away) is a large Safeway with a rather extensive take-away asian and salad-by-the-pound buffet - its decent and pretty fresh and hot if you get there before noon!

      Alex

    16. How sweet of you guys to plan this! I've been meaning to come down and meet my doll neighbors for a while now. I'll see if anyone else in our group here would like to come too. :)

    17. Oh, you have a Supia Rosy! I'd like to see that girl....
      Eye

    18. Oh ya. So exciting. I cant wait.

    19. I'm going for sure *v*!! so happy that there will be a Gogadoll this year!!!!!

    20. It sounds like a great way to meet new people and maybe make some local "doll friends".
The swapping sounds fun too, I'm waiting to see how it will be organized and what the rules/guidelines are, if there will be any. Would dolls be swappable too, like trades in the Marketplace? It could be kind of cool to do that sort of transaction in person, though maybe it would have to be restricted to members with Marketplace access or something.

And mm, nathankatt, I'd be all over that buffet food. So good, even if it isn't the most authentic out there by any means. :sweat

    21. Yay! I will be there for certain and am anticipating a wonderful time as always!;) It's great that something special like this will be happening afterall!

    22. Guess that it was missed, but I updated the website last week. I'm working on putting the panels together now and will announce them soon. Since it's a short event, there will only be two or three, but they're going to be fun and on popular topics.

    23. I wish I lived closer so I could make it. Hopefully next year there will be another Gogadoll so the Portland crew can come down again :D

    24. Kuma - Theres a more authentic place that serves Mandarin Chinese cuisine in a clean and modern setting just another block away from Safeway called Red Jade - they have lunch specials too, every day, that start from $5.25 and they can be taken to go - plus the food is pretty decent! (and I'm an ABC btw ;))

      Alex

    25. @ nathankatt : ooh I'll have to check that place out somehow! thank you for suggestion! I'll keep that in mind as well *takes note*

    26. Just saw the pictures posted of the Center... what a great space! I'm really looking forward to this event!

    27. Ms Cholong of Dollheart USA is planning to attend GoGaDoll Lite!
She will be conducting an event, described in her own words -

We will be very fun all together.
Ms.Cholong prepare the Dolly Game to be together and it has a lof of fun gift for you.
It might be a great chance to be a friend together.

      More details soon!

      Alex

    28. It'll be fun to see how many Dollheart Fers people bring. I know many of us own *at least* one ;)

    29. I'll be attending for sure! 8D

      Ah, I have to figure out how to drag my girl in her Dollheart Fer now. x'D I'm too curious. >.>;

      Alex

    31. Yey! I'm so there! And my sister will come with her first and only BJD. She's looking forward to it as well. That's a great location. I'm flying to the Bay Area on a major el-cheapo airlines so have to travel really light. I'll only have room for one MSD size girl. Sigh...but she'll have the time of her life!

Roweena23--have you ever considered making your fabulous hats for MSD size heads?

This is going to be so fun! Thank you GoGaDoll for doing this! I know any event, even a half day one, takes a lot of work and time.

      Jay

Well, it IS a human-sized one, but covers a small footprint - no one has taken pictures of this yet with bjds - heres your chance!

    46. If you are wondering what sort of labyrinth it is and why, here's a little background:

      http://www.gracecathedral.org/community/labyrinths/

Grace Cathedral has a really big one of these too, and they can be found in random places all over the Bay Area from churches to playgrounds, and you can also buy them in keychain form... ^^ It's some 4000-year-old panmystical thing that got brought into organized religion by way of the Chartres cathedral around 1220. And it's pretty! Photo ops galore around this neighborhood.

I'm starting to gather my swap items together & trying to get organized... hope everyone's in the mood for some cheap eyeballs! And by now I'm starting to get really curious about what 'craziness' is in store for us at the hands of the unsinkable Ms. Cholong. :whee:

    47. That is some interesting history! To bad its just painted on the ground and not actually raised !

I have a friend who is going to try to go up to this swap meet and if she does she will defintely pick up on some eyes !

    48. Different kind of labyrinth! The walled kind are for getting people lost so they can more easily be eaten by minotaurs. The non-walled kind are for walking a brief self-imposed reversible journey of meditation and enlightenment. Or they're just nice for zoning out during a lunch break, or for BJD photo ops. Around Scott & Duboce, this comfortable neighborhood is usually minotaur-free (except possibly on Folsom Street Fair weekend).

Send your friends, & tell your friends to send their friends! It'll be lots of fun. :) And fun with Fers, no less-- tell your friends to tell their dolls not to forget to wear their Fers!

      (OK, got all that? ^^)

    49. Its definitely a meditative type of labyrinth, lol!

Took me 3 visits to finally get a good shot of this too - first time it was near dusk and only the sign placard came out, the 2nd time they were holding an early morning AA meeting there and everyone was in the lotus position - didn't think it was too cool for me to take their pics....
Hmmmm....shots of bjds and humans walking the labyrinth in a meditative state - that would utilizing the labryinth for its intended use, in a way!

      Alex

    50. Look who is back home! Shes getting ready to be the grand prize at GoGaDoll Lite! Ooops! Shes a fast one!

Shes on the move! Get her before she disappears again!

Miss Kitty the pocket fairy was generously donated by Blue Fairy and GoGaDoll's Donation Manager.

      Alex

    51. One of our great and helpful volunteers, Ms Patience Peabody, is helping GoGaDoll Lite sort through our generous donations.

Patience is amazed at the generosity of our donors - AIL heads, shoes, wigs, eyes, and even complete boxed outfits - and the cute goodie bags!

But what Patience really likes, and wants to keep for herself, is a spring hat created for us by Mae Lancier of the online magazine bjdollectasy!

Hmmmm....maybe they won't notice if I wear this home with me.....

A big thanks to the vendors who have donated great and fun things to GGD Lite so far - Mint on Card, Contemporary Doll Artists (CAD), Dollheart, Bjdollectasy, Romantic-Breezes, Tensiya.com, sfhope, Blue Fairy, and our own GGD board of directors!
More to come on the day of our event from Vitta Vera, CAD(even more!), Dollheart USA, Lavender Kiss, FDQ and others!

      Alex

    52. The weather has been forecast as sunny with clouds--no rain!

Come on over and join the fun!

Bring a doll, or two, dressed in DollHeart Fer-finery too!

Looking forward to a fun day of mingling and admiring everyone's dolls!

    53. Woot woot! I'm just trying to find the right wig to go with that Homme Fer on my winsome li'l Iplehouse Mars, and then I'll be ready for swapping!

See everybody tomorrow... bring your dolls, bring your fab selves, and bring cash!.... ;)

    54. Take lots of lovely pictures tomorrow everyone!

Unfortunately I won't be making it myself,
so I hope everyone who does attend has lots of fun!

    55. I'm coming!!!!!!!!!!! WHOO HOO! can't wait to see everyone :D

    56. OMG, DogFest is happening in Duboce Park at the same time! :aeyepop: Dogs and K-5 kids and parents everywhere. I think I'll skip an outdoor photoshoot.

    57. I think I'm going to actually have to drop out on this one, just because I have a lot of sewing to finish up for CBF.
If I can get all of my hand sewing done tonight though, I'll try to make it. :>

    58. :nowords:.... Judas priest! Thanks for the warning. Yes, I guess that means I'll be staying indoors too....
