I love gem of doll! They make beautiful and lovely quality dolls. I have four chubby BB gem of doll girls. Also I only waited two months for my last two girls!

 

I have a Sofiar in green and she's gorgeous. And they shipped her within like 5 weeks which was nuts.

There IS a gem thread but as you said, it's not really been updated in a while. We should ressurect it.

No worries. I keep umming and ahhing about whether I want to partially wipe her factory faceup (she wasn't supposed to come with one, they accidentally did it and let me have it for free lol) so I can get her closer to my other dolls and also fix the wierd orange blush which i'm not a fan of (I prefer blue or green blush on green dolls honestly) but then I chicken out because it's honestly really nicely done.

 

I have a Murphy and a Karben/Carben. Their olls are absolutely beautiful and the outfits, if you get fullsets, are absolutely amazing Especially Karbens.

I bought Muprhy second-hand, but I bought Karben though Alice's Collections and it took only about three months.

 

I wasn't planning to buy 1/4 size dolls because I find 1/3 more suitable for me, but Lanska seems to hit right into my aesthetic preferences, so I might have to make an exception. Gem of Doll just makes such beautiful clothes.

 

I just ordered the Gem of Doll Ho Chily and I am really excited but also nervous. I haven't seen anyone post much about GoD on here, but I've seen some bad reviews from 2018. Hopefully she will meet my expectations, because she is the first fullset doll I've felt compelled to buy and actually had the money for! *Crossing my fingers*. I feel a bit better about it since seeing some of your positive comments, though.

 

Oh, thanks so much for letting me know! I am glad to hear they have been shipping fast this year. With the holiday season coming up in Europe and the Americas, it’s possible they might have a higher volume of orders, but I am crossing my fingers. Either way, I am quite excited.

 

Hi all! Has anyone had experience buying gem of doll through Legenddoll? I have heard really bad customer service/shipping stories about buying directly. Also, how are their faceups in real life?

I haven't bought anything from Gem of Doll yet but I've had good experiences buying other things through Legend Doll and Alice's Collections. Alice's Collections offers free express shipping to the U.S., if you buy a doll that is over 40 cm tall so that might be cheaper, if you want one of those.

 

The faceups look beautiful in this video I found by Dollybammy. It shows Violet and Mary in Daphne's outfit. Does anyone have Mary's outfit?

 

I have a Murphy that is several years old and a Karben from 2019. While Murphy's aface-up is still nice, I prefer Karben's and a lot o the newer dolls I've seen. I feel the company face-ups look brighter/crisper/more refined. I purchased GoD through Alice's and had no problems, though I have heard ordering directly can be troublesome, largely due to a language barrier.

 

I've heard the same thing, about how ordering directly from them is troublesome but through a dealer it's always smooth.

So I went for ACBJD and I have 3 Gems in production. Ordered in December, been told in February that they would be done in 2 months, so I think they will be shipped maybe end of May, we will see.

Sounds about right. I ordered a doll in early September 2019 and got him in late December. It was, however, only one doll.

 

I'm already eyeing a Capricorn, trying to resist very hard over here.

I ordered a Capricorn from ACBJD during an event in early April. I'm hoping I get her in 3 months or less.

 

Do you find that Gem of Doll clothes are difficult to put on the dolls?

 

I saw some people commenting that the outfits are complicated and difficult, and also fragile, but haven't experienced it myself yet. I can report back one I get my order, since the 3 I ordered are Full Sets

I got my tan Capricorn earlier this week, after less than two months. The top and shorts I ordered from ACBJD with her are nice and fit well. Her head is bigger than any of my other dolls, but I can forgive that with her lovely ears and face, and her pointy nailed hands and feet. She came with an extra pair of the rare earth magnets that are in her horns and head. At first I thought they were back-ups for the others, but if they're under her wig they help hold her horns in place. She needs a name and a face-up, but I'm really happy with her!

I am confused that someone ordered 8 months ago and didn't get theirs yet, I wonder if the tan was in stock maybe?

 

There could be a lot of factors. Such as where someone orders through, if they did a layaway or not, where they live, etc.

As for me, I'm sure she'll come in soon. I did a short layaway with Divas, and it's been paid off for a few months now, so I expect that there was just a minor delay or something. I just can't wait to get her and paint her.

I placed an order for Capricorn and Hades in WS Full sets, pretty excited!

 

Can't wait to see them @SunnyWindy ! I love my tan Capricorn, and Hades looks really cool.

 

Capricorn has been on my wishlist for quite a while and I was afraid of missing out on Hades since he is limited, so I went ahead through ACBJD! Your Capricorn is the tan one, right? She is so lovely!

My Natasha, Natalia and Yanni are currently in transit, can't wait to see them in person! I don't see many owner pictures floating around for them, nor videos.

 

I am waiting for the Gals and I got a full set in grey skin. Just passed the 3 month wait on the 2nd!

I got her purposely as an art doll, but for 'fun' the smaller sizes are more my style.

 

@RinSetsua congrats on your girl’s homecoming. She is gorgeous . I see what you mean by intimidating- she looks like a final boss in that outfit I especially love the “halo” . Is that part of the outfit or a furniture prop?

As a Capricorn, I ordered GEMs Capricorn fullset for my birthday in January this year and she arrived last week~

I chose tan skin for her due to her long, low hanging ears that reminded me of a fawn. And the contrast against her outfit is lovely. I'm over the moon for her, and she was my first fullset experience, I'm very impressed with GEMs attention to detail.

 

Oh my, what a beauty she is! Her faceup is particularly stunning, as is her amazing outfit. I also purchased my boy Hades as a fullset and was likewise impressed with Gem of Doll’s overall styling and attention to detail. They really are a wonderful company in my opinion.

Greetings fellow collectors n_n I wanted to know if anyone has received an order lately from this company, at this time of Halloween they released some dolls that are super cute but the various and scarce opinions of the brand worry me, I wanted to know if anyone has had good experiences in the most current performance of this brand, thanks in advance.

 

I actually put in an order for their new Sig2r nude doll body and also the 1/4 Gaia
I love their dolls a lot, but haven't seen much about the company, so I'm very anxious for my girls to arrive!

 

OMG yes, I had put my eyes on Sig2r as well! I was really hyped with the 2 most recent dolls, Sig2r Normal Ver and Lucia, both 44cm, but I couldn’t decide between the two, I don’t have any experience with faceup making and I wanted a fullest, since I don’t have girls or any clothes in MSD size, I only have boys 1/3; but again, my fear falls in the reviews of the clothes and wigs that are so-so, but they said the dolls are gorgeous. I wish you the best of luck with your order!

 

I've ordered their Gaia (full set) and Abner (with faceup). Gaia was thru Clover Singing and Abner was direct, and I had no issues with either. I think my Gaia was in stock, because she came in a month and Abner took like 4, I think?

 

Hi! Does anyone have a resin comparison between the white and the normal pink? I'm still debating between the ones I wanted to buy or a new one but I haven't decided on the color, I don't know if the white one will be too ghostly but I don't want the pink one to be yellowish or very pink, does anyone have a sample of the normal pink resin?

 

I don’t have one in white skin to compare it too, but I do have a Gem of Dolls Hades in pink normal (with company faceup.) It’s a lovely and realistically normal shade…not too pink or yellow…and is quite lovely in my opinion.

Am I the only one completely in love with the new boy Bmoth? (octopus/3 eyed version) he's such an unique little dude, my only problem is that I'd like to get the eye tentacle add-on but not the full set otherwise. I'll probably order the doll only and try making my own additional accessory for him later or something.
