20–39cm Dolls Gem of Doll-Beth!

When I checked the package tracking this morning, I realized she was in my town, and got so giddy. I tried to calm myself down, since I still had no idea if she would arrive today... but she did!



She was packaged extremely well. There were 5 layers that I went through before I got to the box itself...



Inside the box was:
CoA (not pictured)
Gem of Doll photobook (not pictured)
LegendDoll pamphlet (with restringing instructions!) (not pictured)
Bag containing Beth's outfit
small bag containing shoes
bag containing Beth's wig and a wig cap
a small squishy packing cube
the doll (wrapped in a beautiful cushion)
and two little extra goodies!

Now I ain't no Christian anymore, but when I first touched her I couldn't stop saying oh my god (as I was trying really hard to get the face styrofoam off)



This is my first 1/6 doll. I think she's a bit tinier than I expected, which is not a bad thing at all! I love love love tiny.

She came with her eyes already inserted! Though one was a bit off, so I adjusted it a little.

Now onto the clothes! First her little nightie:



She poses quite well. Her resin is a little more textured than my previous doll, which I suspect helps her keep poses.



Almost there! Gem's clothes are beautiful of course, but can take a little time to get on. I don't want to break/rip anything delicate!



Tada!!!!!!

The only thing missing from this is her hairpiece.

She seemed a little nervous, but that's alright... I prepared a little friend for her welcome home gift!




Minor complaints:

Her eyelashes on one side got a tiny bit crushed on the inner corner, so they weren't quite in the right shape. I'm going to try and fix them, or trim them a teeny tiny bit if I can't.

I thought that she would come with the official Beth shoes. I knew that on another site, there was a note that the shoes would be replaced, but there was no notice of this on Legenddoll, so I had hope. The ones they supplied don't quite match, and they're very difficult to get on, honestly. But some shoes are better than no shoes!

The flowers on the front of her dress are a bit off center :/

The wig styling seems like it may have been a little rushed, or at least it isn't as meticulous as I would have preferred personally. But I'm too scared to try and fix it myself, so I'll live with it!

Final notes:

The two little extra goodies were a tiny llama and swan figurine. I don't have any pictures of them yet!

There were a few tiny things that I was sad/disappointed about, but they were pretty small. I'm just so happy she's here, she's gorgeous, and I love her. I don't have a name for her yet, I have one that is a probably and one that is a maybe, but I'm just not 100% sure yet. Feel free to make suggestions!
