40–49cm Dolls Gem of Doll Ann Fullset Arrival!

She's here! She's here! She's finally heeeere!!! I ordered her back in May, and was supposed to receive her at the end of August.... but my post office was incompetent and failed to deliver her and then said they couldn't find the package the 3 times I went to pick it up and THEN returned it anyways. But fortunately she made it safely back to Gem and they were kind enough to re-ship her to me and now she's heeeeere

I'll post my thoughts here and then post pictures.

Pros: First thought is oh my god she is GORGEOUS. Her face up is SO pretty. I absolutely love the glitter detail on her eyelids, lower lip and cupid's bow. They really add a nice highlight to her features. and her eyes are sooooo pretty i am in love with the pink-blue fade in them. Her body blushing is beautiful and she poses SO nicely out of the box... I've really only ever had 1/6 size dolls so I am extremely impressed with her range of motion. Her expression is so pretty I can't wait to play with her more. Her outfit is super duper cute and the guitar is so cool, I'm glad I made sure to have it included.

Cons: As much as I love the outfit.... it's also probably the biggest con I have It took me over an hour to put it all on her, and some of the pieces didn't seem to fit super well/were tough to close. Also, her little leather studded wrist bracelet? yeah, those studs all fell off in the first 5 minutes of putting it on her >.> fortunately, nothing a little super glue can't fix for those, but I wouldn't be surprised if they had a tendency to fall off. Her earrings also fall out a lot, but that can also be fixed with a bit of putty on the back of her ear. Also I'm not sure if I should list this as a con because it's intentional, but her hips are HUGE. Way bigger than I anticipated. I had pre-bought a few clothes for her before her arrival and anything that wasn't a skirt was a no-go over those things lol So I guess it's more of a "be aware that she wont be able to wear normal size bjd pants" than a con.

Other notes: Her wig definitely needs a bit of extra styling out of the box, and I need to figure out how to put it on her a bit better, too >.< Things I'll learn in time, I'm sure, but just and fyi if it looks kinda off, its because it hasnt been styled and i did my best to put it on hkjdfhssd
