Hi guys, this is my very first time here at "The Joint", I only just joined! I'm not that good at intro's!.....Well, I am a doll person, I have had dolls of many forms all of my life. I was always making clothing for them and made houses for them and even made "food" ect out of plasticine! I have always wanted to create my very own doll, and up until now ABJD's have filled that gap for me in the way of customising. I adore doing face-up's ect and can spend hours taking photo shoots. I have made some little Fimo Ballerina dolls a long time ago, just using my own ideas, they turned out lovely and I was able to sell them. I am now feeling that I want to try my hand at making an ABJD,just for me. I have been looking around for materials and tools and have sourced most of them on Ebay! I have no training as a sculptor, I did do art at school in England & Ireland, but I am really self taught in sculpting. I was really inspired by watching progress of the sculpting on DoA. My favorite sculptors are Mr AnJonghak and Mr Torre of Dollstown, both of these men are amazing and I admire their work so much. I hope to visit Korea and see them both in the near future. I hope I haven't raved on too much!~......... I am looking forward to learning all I can from you all.....in the quest of making my own personal ABJD. All the best, xen ) (Kathy)
