Im beginning her job:

 

Love love LOVE this photo of Im! Her pose, the angle, the way her hair is moving about in the wind, the clouds starting to build behind her...EVERYTHING is just amazing! She really looks as if she's calling up a storm!

 

It was Im's birthday on Friday! One year since she's been home with me. It crept up on me and I forgot to make her something. She's a good sport about it, though.

Hey, Kitty Blue, how goes your new girl?

 

Much neglected unfortunetly..she is still currently nameless, though I did have a name but I seem to have forgotten it..lol. Still testing the waters with her and trying to decide what color I may dye her, though I'd hate to mess up her pretty faceup.

This is my favorite picture of Anya that I ever took, her face features are so pretty and her red hair and lips match really well and with her purple eyes...they just pop, I love it

 

Wow, whatadollboutique! That last picture is so dynamic. The colors just... wow. It's so nice that our tiny little community is growing.

Well I have some good news, a package from Alice's Collections came today and Anya has a new super cute outfit, I am so happy with how it looks and fits, yeah!!!!!

Hey, thanks, Garden of Dolls does such great work on their face-ups, every doll I have seen from them is a little bit different so you really do feel like your getting a one of a kind doll. I think Anya's Face Up is what won me over, I saw her and instantly fell in love with her

 

HaHa, I know right, I might have to take like 50 photos for one to turn out right, but your photo did turn out really nice and beautiful new wig too

 

whatadollboutique, I purchased that from Alice's Collections too, it's such a pretty dress. Sadly it's stuck in customs I hope you don't mind if I post a photo with my Nabiya wearing it too when I finally get it.

 

Of course I won't mind if you post photos of the same dress I thought it was such a cute dress and on for a good price, I bet a lot of people picked it up. I hope you get yours soon

I've been thinking about getting her a new faceup, but I'm not sure what to do for it. I've always loved her face, but my other girl's new faceup made her look so much more alive, and I'd love that for Im too.

 

I've finally gotten around to taking a photo of my Nabiya. I decided to dress her in a different outfit.

I'll be honest, when I first got her I was a little disappointed. Her lips were glossy, but there was barely any color at all. She is also much lighter and less pink than she appears in the promos. I thought maybe I had received a white skin doll by mistake! She also came with eyes that were much too big for her (16mm).

I purchased some 14mm eyes from Candy Kittens Emporium, and they brought her to life. But, there was still the issue of those lips. I almost sent her off for a face up, but then I decided to touch them up on my own (my first time) with the free makeup SoulDoll sent me, and a bottle of Liquitex I bought from Michael's. I totally botched it the first few time, but wiped it and kept adding layers until I liked the color.

Now I love her I'll love her even more once I suede that kicky right elbow...lol...

Isn't she looking lovely? Is she the Nabiya that was in the MP? I SO wanted to buy her, but couldn't come up with the funds before she sold. VERY happy to see her in a good home!

 

this girlie was never on the MP i put a thread in the MP specifically looking for damaged and broken dollies to use as rescue projects and someone offered her up to me! she had severe uneven yellowing, a broken finger, and was covered in scratches! (she is still ever so slightly unevenly yellowed since i didnt wanna sand her face too much and risk ruining her facial fetures, but it is barely noticeable and doesnt capture on camera, and i think a good faceup will hide it completely!)

now that she's finished im not sure if she will be staying with me as she doesnt quite fit in with my dollie family but if i do let her go i will probably give her away as a gift to someone who wants to join the hobby so that they can have their first dollie or i would probably trade her since she is a treasure being my first major rescue doll and since i put so much love into her in my opinion she is priceless so selling her wouldnt feel right!

 

I'm excited, guys... Im is out for faceup! When she comes home, she'll be stormier than ever.

Hey, Hope it's alright if I join in on the thread. I received this lovely girl from an order recently, and after doing her face-up she wanted to come say hi. She's yet to inform me of her name, and that's not her actual wig. It's in the mail.

 

Beetle, she's precious! I love her lips so much. I can't wait to see her real wig.

I'm super happy, because my Im came home from her artist today! I missed her soooo much, and now she looks so perfect!

 

IM! She looks AMAZING! I LOVE the lightening bolt down the middle of her face!

My gals new wig and clothing came in yesterday. All she really needs now is her shoes... Which i'm not even sure what type to get her. But here she is

Fixed it! I'm so happy Im is back to looking blue most of the time... she was starting to look green in a lot of lighting, but the wiping of her face got rid of a lot of it, and the new faceup itself fixed the rest. Not that I'd mind if she greened -- it was turning into this tornado-sky green. But she'll always be blue in my mind, so I'd prefer her skin stay that way. XD She'll always be special no matter what color she is.

Man, Beetle, your girl is making me want more clothes for Im. She just looks so stylin'. I need to get sewing, sigh.

 

Oh wow Im is Gorgous! She for sure looks blue as well. So cute and gah!

I wish I could sew doll cloths. Then again, I'd have so many.

 

hey everyone, long time no see! I haven't had much inspiration for my dolls the last few months but now I'm fully back lol. I'm still in love with my Nabiya, Hachiko and I just bought her a bunch of clothes on Etsy. They haven't arrived yet but I took some new pictures of her anyway. Remember how I wanted to style her in the Gyaru style? That didn't quite work out like I imagined but for lolz I put her in one of the "gyaru-like" outfits I purchased.

Everyone's girl looks so stunning. It's crazy how one sculpt can have so many different looks. I'm re-vamping Ivy, and will hopefully have new photos up soon.

 

Can't wait to see your Ivy, Beetle! I also love how versatile the Nabiya sculpt is. She's easily one of my favourite dolls! She's my only MSD at the moment (not counting the DZ flower kids) and I'm spoiling her rotten. If anyone has been looking for jeans that fit Nabiya, I got these really cute leggins with jeans look from MonstroDesigns on Etsy. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures atm lol. Oh and I got this cute outfit from Luts, it fits perfectly:

I'm always open for more clothing suggestions! I found that clothes targeted for Minifees fit very well, especially the pants and shoes. I got these super cute shoes from Etsy, they fit perfectly aswell:

Everyone's girls are looking fab! Wish I could help with the fit questions, but Im has a Resinsoul body, so alas. Sometimes I wish I could get her an original GoD body just for the double joints... sigh. Ah well. I love her and her faults. :P

 

I noticed that my Resinsoul Mei and this gals bodies are very very similar. Both fit slim fitted clothing.
