^______^ Here is my first beautiful boy, a dollmore Dean! He arrived on the 15th, but I just haven't had time to share him with you yet! When he came I was kinda disapointed with his wig...it just wasn't the look I wanted for him. It didn't go with the personality I had for him. And it would take aagggees for me to get the wig I wanted. But that personality has sorta gone out the window since I had him...I love him more then ever now! The box shot! These are sorta traditional, ne? ^^;; The first thing that struck me was his eyes...they're so beautiful! Gabriel: Umm...this netting is kind of annoying... Sam: Oh..sorry! ^^;; Sam: WAAAI! Your face up is so pretty! I was expecting pinker lips though...and less of this orange stuff. But this is good too! Gabriel: So I'm secound best?? Sam: No no...not at all! But we have to hurry and get to my grandma's! There are clothes to be made! ~The next day~ Gabriel: Finaly, we're home! Sam: Yes, that was quite an adventure Gabriel: And quite a spacious home it is. But just one problem... Sam: Hmm? Gabriel: WHEN are you going to clean up this mess?? Sam: Heheheh...^^;; Gabriel: I do like this chair though...rather throne like. Sam: Thought you would ^___^ Just a few questions before I leave you with this looong post. I think he's strung too tightly because his legs always pop up when he's held and his arms always stay folded, no matter what I do. It makes standing him up very difficult, and I only seem to be able to get him to stand in a certion way...none of the nice poses I've seen in peoples photos. Does anyone know a good restringing guide? Also a place to get Mr Super Clear >__< his body is already covered in black marks! Oh...and if anyone knows how to take his headcap off and put it on again..that would be a help too ^____^;; Thankies!
Squee! Dean! I have one too. Yes... his body is a bit of a problem... Does yours have issues with his hip joints too? Like the leg balls are too small for the hip wells, and don't hold well? First off... wireing his legs will help... I think you may have to swade his hip joints for him to stand better... I'm planning on doing that with mine as soon as I can get a stringing tool... my hands refuse to do any more stringing without one. Wireing his arms might help too. Tho you will have to get thinner wire than the legs, for he is a frail/thin boy *nods* For the head cap... take off his feet.... First pull GENTLY on his foot, watch the S hook as it's thin and may bend, causing it to snap back up into his leg, where you will have the most difficult time getting it back out. (this happened to me, trust me!) once you pull the foot down a ways, thred a shoe lace through the elastic hoop and let it go in SLOWLY, making sure the lace still sticks out of his leg. do the same for the other foot and his head cap will be a snap to remove.
Thanks guys! Gabriel loves the attention he's getting! I think I do get the problem with the hip joints. When you stand him up his hips always give way unless you put them in a certion position. Must be a dollmore thing, huh? Thanks for the suggestion though, I'll definatly try that when I can! Oh! And I tried openning the head like you said. It worked well...but I did loose the s hook in his leg... ^^;;; Thank you so much for telling me! I managed to sort out Gabriel's eyes...they looked rather cross eyed. Heres a pic! Muuuch better! Anyway, thanks for your kind comments ^____^ good luck with all your Deans!
