Aesthetics Full body tattoos for a female wrestler

Apr 7, 2022

    1. (Warning: necessary nudity)

I spent two whole years deciding if I was brave enough to attempt this on my Luts Delf JuHee. She’s in lavender skin, on the Luts Female Senior Delf type 5 body. Lotus Kai is a female wrestler, and I was really wanting to take her persona to the next level of general badass-ery…but in a beautiful and artistic way, of course, by adding a lot of tattoos. What can I say?…I love me some wild wrestling divas!;)

For inspiration, I looked to one heavily tattooed wrestling badass favorite of mine, Ruby Soho (Ruby Riott). I don’t plan to go nearly this wild however. For Lotus Kai, I’m planning to work within a central theme (Lotus designs because of her name,) and stick within a carefully limited color palate to compliment her lavender skin tone.

I’m making this up as I go…I’m just going to start drawing right on Lotus Kai’s body parts, one by one, and proceed from there. I realize, of course, that when I’m done, much of my work will be covered by her wrestling costumes…but I don’t care. This is all about character building for me, and I’ll know it’s there regardless, whether she’s dressed or not.:)

Beginning with a disassembled doll body part, initially sprayed with MSC sealant to give it “tooth” for the artwork.

Lightly sketch a basic abstract lotus design in pencil…doing my best to make it symmetrical, but realizing and accepting that it won’t be absolutely perfect. This is okay however, I’m mostly interested in the overall look and feel.

Next comes the most nerve-wracking part…linework in watercolor pencil (trying hard to keep my hand steady.):sweat Once I’m satisfied, I give it a light coat of MSC to seal it.

Now it’s time to apply the color (using watercolor pencils) and adding any smaller details to my finished design. Finish with a final coat or two of MSC sealant spray. Yeah I know:sigh…nipple tattoos, yikes! That must have been painful, but Lotus Kai didn’t complain…after all, she’s a badass wrestler so she’s tough!

So that’s my simple process. Next I’m onto the back, and I’ll continue to update this thread each time I finish a design until I’m all done. I’m actually hoping to get all this fully completed within one month’s time…we’ll see how that goes, but I’m pretty determined.;)

    2. This is so beautiful!! I can't wait to see the fully completed doll!

    3. Wow excellent work! This is a fascinating work of art! <3

    4. Yes, PLEASE! Can't wait to see more of Lotus's awesome tattoos! First one looks really professional. (And TBH, I think most people make their tatts up as they go, so that feels really authentic.)

Also... if you have any issues drawing on curves, like her arms, try drawing the design flat. Then scuff the back of the drawing with pastel. Hold the design to her arm pastel-side-down, then trace the design to transfer. (It helps if you leave a clean tab to hold onto, with no pastel.)

    5. @_goblincat Thank you! I can’t wait to see this finished either…but I just have to steel myself to the amount of work needed and keep at it until the end. Fingers crossed it all goes well.:)

@JL_The_Lion That is very kind of you to say. I’m happy with my efforts so far…but you know what they say: art is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration.:sweat Here’s hoping my vision holds.

@Kymera That’s a really great tip for drawing on curves! That would be extremely helpful for anyone embarking on such a project. I’m pretty adept at drawing on curves however from the work I did on my Dollzone Anson (see avatar.) Working on all her petals was like a crash course in drawing on rounded surfaces.;)

And I managed to complete her backpiece.

    6. Adorable back! <3
Looks beautiful! Respect for painting the fine chains!
Even the color choice - a real work of art! <3
Very good work - keep it up! :thumbup :love

    7. @JL_The_Lion Thank you so much for your kind words. They really help to keep me going on this artistic marathon.:)

I worked hard on this project over the weekend, following all the same steps as above, and I got all the torso work done…front and back. If I’ve learned anything from free-handing the stylized designs for this project, it’s that the trick is to match the artwork to the body part so it has a nice flow along the body’s lines. And of course to keep the completed pieces nearby for handy color matching, so the overall cohesiveness doesn’t get away from me.;)

    8. Excellent creation!!!i love your work <3 The work of art harmonises perfectly with the Body.
      My congratulations <3
I've tried my hand at tattoos but never so perfectly.
My halfway successful work is Neo with his white rabbit:
      Follow the white rabbits

    9. Gorgeous! I love your designs so much!

    10. @JL_The_Lion Thank you! I’ve really tried hard to keep my designs cohesive and harmonious with the body parts. I wanted a matching look, all revolving around her name, Lotus Kai. That little rabbit tattoo on your boy is wonderful, by the way.:)

@Kymera I really appreciate that! With my designs and colors, I was wanting a “pretty” look for my girl…even though she’s tough.;)

And here’s the work I did on her thighs. I won't be doing anything to her lower legs however, because they’re always covered in tight over-the-knee wrestling boots anyway.

    11. <3 <3 <3
The lady becomes a feast for the eyes!
I'm really looking forward to the complete work of art! :love

And thanks with the white rabbit - but my tattoos are boring compared to your creation.

    12. @JL_The_Lion No way! All tattoos are wonderful little works of art, and that little white rabbit is awesome no matter how tiny it is. When it comes to tattoos, it’s all in meaning behind it and what it adds to the character…whether that be dolls or humans.;)

And whew! I just finished early…and in the nick of time truly because I was beginning to face serious artistic burnout with this project.*_* I set a goal for myself of one month and actually managed to finish in less than two weeks. In hindsight, I probably shouldn’t have pushed myself so hard but I was on a roll, right up unto the end. The final pieces I did were her two upper arms and hands. (I didn’t do her lower arms because they are continuously covered by wrestling armlets up to the elbows.)

Now I’m onto some necessary sueding of her hips, and then it will be the monumental task of re-stringing all these pieces together. When I’m done, I’ll add photos of the entire finished project.:thumbup

    13. Just beautiful! Looks an artistically fantastic good :love
Good luck with the final "act" of the artwork :thumbup
And make no mistake in clothing to make the tattoos visible - I've done that :(
I lost friends and acquaintances with transparent latex of the at the art of fetish models at my Madison "Raven".
New Year's Eve party for two
      Too little tolerance :(

    14. I’m happy with how this project turned out, and even happier that it’s finally completed. It took me two years to build up the nerve to tackle it,:sweat and two weeks to complete it, but now I’m very happy that I made the decision to go for it. In the end, it really took my female wrestling diva to where I wanted to go with her. Here she is with her body put back together.

And I knew her normal wrestling gear would cover up a great deal of her tattoo work, but I wanted to do it anyway for the sake of her character development. As it turns out, even fully dressed, I really like the way it looks. Now she is every bit the tough and badass female wrestler, Lotus Kai!;)

    15. You did a lovely work on this girl! Your tattoos are in nice colors that suit perfectly the resin shade of your Juhee.
