From OC's to Dolls (Show me your side by side!)

I never finished Ezra's art but I decided to shell her into a Lishe because I don't think I could find a better sculpt.
The outfit in the art is the one I'd like to make for her, but for the now the white turtleneck will have to do. The only thing I need to change about her doll form is to cut her hair, and find a robotic eye since she's a cyborg.


The sculpt you picked fits him perfectly btw. He's gonna look awesome when he's finished.

 

Honestly, I ended up buying a doll I had NO intention of buying, simply because it was a direct mirror image of my elf OC, DinRaali. I wasn't planning on make him into a doll at all, but then an Impldoll and Resin Soul hybrid crossed my path in the marketplace and couldn't turn back. I haven't actually finished the trade for him yet, so he hasn't been customized yet, but here's a direct compare between the two:





I seriously cannot wait to get to work turning into my cheeky little elf~ I'm going to end up making his whole family at this rate, haha!

 

Here are my two longest-term OCs! Both were dolls first but have been through a re-shell, so their appearances weren't based on these molds.

I say recent, but I still spent YEARS finding the perfect sculpt for her.

I plan to shell other OCs from his same story, but so far he's the only one that's made the journey from a character in my head to a doll in my room.

 

Here is one of my book's protagonists, Ikeda Satoru, Switch Milhwa, the doll, on the left, and a slightly younger version on the right ^ ^ I hope I managed to capture him as I should have~

 

Don't have the right wig yet, or his clothes (theyre coming though ) but I plan to create my OC Xephius, a sorcerer elf :3 I found an Angel Street Zazean elf head on facebook and grabbed that and paired it with a Doll Leaves body also from there and waala, created this lovely. Not entirely done, still looking for the curly wig, and his clothes have yet to arrive and I still gotta make a cloak like piece to it, possibly his ear jewelry clip thing you see to the left and maybe a staff, but hes got the blue eyes (I might get a lighter shade later on) and the same pout XD
Also gonna make his older brother Azanor, possibly into a Resinsoul Yang, but I might ask them if they can switch the human ears for elf. I heard someone else mention they'll do that, which is pretty cool ^^

The nose is totally wrong but I think I was able to contour it so it vaguely resembles her nose when I draw it. Honestly, I buy dolls as a means to create a physical shell for my favourite roleplay characters. With Imogen I was okay settling for a sculpt that wasn't a perfect fit (also the boobs are too big but I love the body too much to want to replace it), but for my all-time favourite rp character I HAD to get him perfect and I think I did, with a Venitu head and a Dollshe Mystic body. It's going to be a long wait until he comes home though!

ETA: The eyes aren't right, they're supposed to be turquoise (they're green right now but photograph super dark). Currently waiting for custom lemonjelly eyes for her.

His wig actually came in and is a perfect match color wise ^^ and thank you, yea I found that out xD I can't help it, I love the fantasy style clothes like mage/sorcerer outfits ;w; and it really does! It took me digging just to find his wig honestly xD But I think it looks nice on him ^^ His shirt also got here c:

 

Oh gosh, this thread is one I could go on and on in...
I'll start out with just three. Most of them are originally based on World of Warcraft OC's who were then transplanted into my own world where they got different eye colors and shorter ears. They're supposed to be elves, but well, let's say I have a ton of elf ear mods to do.
