Friends Mistaken for Lovers

How about a pair of affectionate brothers? (We've gotten quite a few questions about the... err... nature of their relationship... 0_o)

 

I always get comments about what a cute couple Sway and Luca make ^^; (and I have to admit that if only it were possible, they'd so be my secret OTP - they do look very pretty together... But it'd neeeever work :P)

 

These two have an odd relationship. Flea's affectionate in manners, but he generally just plays games, and Kefka hates everyone and everything, yet they've managed to strike up something of a very close friendship. Flea is definately the more touchy-feely of them, Kefka is more "touch me and die!" in demeanor, but he doesn't seem to mind Flea.

I never planned for that, but they have very complimentary personalities, in a way.

 

My twins have been mistaken for.. a little more than siblings before ^^;

 

That happens alot with my boys... ^_^;

Jun and Gloria's Taz are mistaken for closer than best friends quite often..





[the funny thing is now that Jun and Carus broke up.. Taz and Jun have been getting "closer" everyday, funny how things can change ^^]

and it doesn't happen anymore but in the beginning peeps used to go on about how Jun and Jenova made the perfect couple O_o;; Jenova has absolutely no interest in Jun that way, he only likes to mess with him and Jun hates Jenova with a passion, I always thought that was pretty evident in all their together pics so I never quite got that personally

now Shura wishes he and Jenova were mistaken for lovers still [they used to be long long loooooonnnnggg ago... now Jenova is just taking his time in killing him <_<; ... no friendship even -heh]

 

There aren't many pictures of these two around yet... but at least one person looked at this one when I posted it and immediately came to the conclussion that Hogosha and Kosetsu were a pair.



They aren't.

I don't know Kosetsu's preferences or opinions on the matter, since he's been pretty reluctant to say anything at all about himself beyond "I'm just a priest. And ghosts like me. [eyes Serras and Sannru] But not like that." ... but Hogosha is definitely all about the girls.

 

Truth be told Ro and Elli are close but they are not lovers. The way they act in photos together though often implies otherwise.

 

Well....Gabriel and Yoshin were -supposed- to be just friends. But Gabriel's been pretty lonely lately and.....yeah.

 

Heh heh. Lore and Gabe definitely aren't lovers. But they'll play around for the camera, especially if Evensong plays with them, which she quite often does.

 

I already had a friend ask if they were together. Sick sick person because Seres and Aaden are brother and sister =3=

 

This picture probably makes everyone think that R&G have the hots for eachother - they don't, they just have a really close relationship. It's actually modeled on a friendship that I had when I was little.

 

People like to assume they're together. But Ping (right) is straight and Nagi (left) has a husband. Ping does like making jokes about how Nagi is a trap.

 

Brendon and Lynn just look really cute together on camera, but they aren't a couple just really close friends.. won't be easy to guess though based off some of their pics. They can pose way too good together. XD

 

Dee and Ysiri are always together and have been mistaken for a couple in the past, though they're best friends and nothing more than that... mainly out of Ysiri's choice, since he's 100% straight.



Ysiri and Ke'jadiannyé do tend to look very close on camera - because they are - but that would be due to them being brother and sister, and they'd be simulataneously sticking their fingers down their throats if anything were suggested otherwise:



And finally, Inkali... who is naturally flirty and affectionate and who is easy to mistake for being together with just about every one of my other guys/girls:

 

Ezra and Vin were easily mistaken for a couple in my latest photoshoot...but other than a very close friendship there's nothing between these two (and actually you would never catch Vin showing any skin if it wasn't for the symbolic quality of the shoot. He's an extremely shy guy^^)

People often seem to mistake Darryl (white hair) and Abigail (red hair) for lovers - not just when they see pictures of their doll forms, but also when they read story-bits that have the two of them interacting! In truth, they're much closer than friends, but there are also a lot of lies and secrets between them. Their relationship is very complicated, and while it's not sexual, sometimes it feels like it almost should be. After all, Abigail was one of the people who built Darryl, and she's been keeping that from him.

This is from the first shoot after I got both of them and wondered with their pretty obvious height difference when standing, if switching it would make their characters different..



Hane (left) being 70cm and Zeraki (right) being 65cm. Even though Hane is pretty open-minded and Zerachiel.. well, he's complicated, they might be close but definitely not lovers.

 

Ty and Emily are easily be mistaken for lovers, sharing a strong bond they dont even share with their lovers, but their mutual honesty to eachother generally ruins any thoughts of being closer than friends. She thinks he is a manwhore, and he thinks she is a crazy, indecisive maneater. XD

 

Lir and Kevya are incredibly close, and continue to grow more so,

but because they're both male and this is a hobby full of Yaoi fangirls, they are often mistaken for a couple. I've given up trying to correct people most of the time.

These two have a weird inter-reaction that yaoi fangirls rarely read correctly. There is such a thing as being intimate simply in the sense of being extremely close, as opposed to sexual. These two are far too close for comfort but there's nothing sexual about it.

 

Well they're not so much friends as Eleanor just showed up and wouldn't leave. She's a vampire and likes to get quite close when she feeds, though. And unfortunately Jack's too much of a sweetheart to let her go out and feed on strangers if he can help it, so she drinks from him a lot. Leads to stuff like this.

 

Aithne and Hands argue like a Couple, but they're actually just friends, almost more like a brother and sister.
