French dolls ! Kyrielle & Naïade (38-39cm)

Feb 18, 2007

1. You are absolutly amazing!!! These dolls are so Beautiful! :D

2. Wow =o I've never seen such beautiful dolls that someone themselves created! It's so amazing! Lovely job!

3. Thanks every one !

Cirquemon, I've never studied about sculpting or casting.
I began by myself with creation of garage-kits, with lot of casting tries (sometime horrible tries....), and with time and experience, I now understand more about casting dolls.
About sculpting, I do it with no technic, I use what I find, no scultpor cissors or special paste, I use what we can find for children in shops !

I have satred to cast Naïade, I have the face now.

And this morning I took picture of Kyrielle with clothes I've made (shoes too), so here a picture :

4. Truely amazing and extremely beautiful :3 You're insanely talented :D

5. Do you have any more picture of Naïade? She is so perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!

6. Thanks !!

Soon I'll finish to cast Naïade, so I could take pictures of her with make-up ! But you've got to wait a little more...

7. Ooo, wow! She's really amazing! Very professional. Did you actually create a mold for her? Are you planning on producing more? Or were you just playing around with the two different skin tones? In any case, those ears are adorable! I love them! They're the cutest little elf ears!

8. Your dolls are absolutely stunning! You could easily make a living from casting these dolls <3

I've wanted a Unoa for years, but seeing these... I want them far, far more! ^_^

I remember seeing you feline girl in the marketplace but I was too broke to afford her x.x; I'd love to buy one of the MSD girls pictured on the front page when I have the cash though - these are so beautiful!

I really do hope you will sell more of these beautiful dolls. ^_^ <3

Good luck!

9. Wow They are wonderfull! You are very talented. What clay did you use if you dont mind me asking?

10. ZOMG want sooo bad. all your dolls are so beautiful. i must subscribe to your thread now ^_^ keep up the good work and i cant wait to see your 19 cm girly finished.

BTW what ever happened to Naïade? i havent seen anymore of her 'cept on the first page. did i miss it?

11. wow! they are gorgeous!

12. As I told in my last message, Naïade is now in casting process !! You didn't miss her, Metalheadneko !
She'll be ready soon !

And I'll cast Tielle too, but later because I want to be sure the prototype is perfect before making molds.
My prototypes are made with several different clays, depending of the part : for the first forms, I use plastiroc because it's a strong clay when dried. It's like my prototypes' skeleton !
On it the plastiroc, I use Ter'plus or Solargil, because even if they are less stong, these clays are fin, easier to sculpt than Plastiroc.

I d'ont use polymer paste, just water clays.

13. I am very impressed with the work I see here.. The dolls looks lovely and I am a big fan of their gorgeous curves.

Well done!

14. Hi again Enaibi, I bought some La Doll premium airdry clay, heard it was stronger than some others, but I dont know as I have`nt started yet:)

15. oh good. i was just wondering cuz i havent seen any pics of her since the first page. ^_^ cant wait to see her

16. I don't need to have very strong prototype, it's useless because I make molds to cast dolls in resin finaly, so no problem !

I know lots of people use Ladoll or Fimo (puppen fimo too) because if you want to keep your prototype as a finished doll, it's possible. As resin, we can get skin tones mixing clays, and we can sand-paper too... but I'm not interested in this technic.

I will finish Tielle prototype soon !

17. Their expressions are so adorable! Your dolls are truely beautiful! How long have you been making dolls, if I may ask?

18. I REALLY REALLY WANT A KYRIELLE...

MY DREAM... :(

19. AW so cute! I love their faces. Their eyes and lips are wonderful. so cute! I can't wait to see you cast some, is that happening soon like for the feelines?

20. Hi Enaibi,
You have a great talent. Please don't change your style as it is unique and very appealing. The big head looks perfect for your style (in my opinion) and I would be over the moon to own any one of your creations. I hope you can find a way to make them available for us someday!! Wish I could help you with casting etc but I am so overwhelmed with my own work that it would be impossible :( Once you get a set of nice clean molds it isn't so hard to cast the parts and (speaking for myself) I would be very happy to buy the parts and sand and put them together myself so maybe you could consider selling just unfinished kits? I find the most time consuming part is doing the sanding and finishing.
Just a suggestion from an admirer of your work :aheartbea

21. ^
*very* great suggestion!
I would also buy an unfinished kit. It wouldnt matter to me if it was fullset/finished/unfinished, as long as I had a Kyrielle! :D
I am really hoping you decide to market your creations soon. ^__^
*Jen

22. I would buy an unfinshed kit, too. :) Or several! Cybele and Kyrielle. *just gimme the chance!* :celebrate

23. I would also be totally delighted if the opportunity to buy an 'unfinished kit' of your sculpts came up. I wouldn't need her to be strung, or sanded, or anything. I would LOVE to own a Naïade!

24. I'd be interested in Kyrielle as an unfinished kit

25. Just chiming in to add my opinion: I would buy an unfinished kit too. I really enjoyed putting things together (such as my U-noa Sist) so as I see it, it'd be less work for you and more fun for me! :fangirl:

26. ohh you are the best!:D I'm love of Kirielle. Your customs are very specials and unics! I hope that one day you decide to sell one:) (and i hope to can to be i the winner XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD or to can buy to you one kirielle)

27. Er, unfinished kits? I wasn't planning on another doll really, but I'll cue up for a Kyrielle!

28. Hum.... I don't plan selling dolls "in kit" for the moment, sorry :sweat

I love making dolls, and not just selling them.
I really love seeing them "grow up", so, for the moment, even if it means I can't cast a lot of dolls, I want to keep on making them by my-self as long as I can.
And it's quit hard to ajust parts and sand-paper them. I'm not sure it would be coll for you doing that !

Thanks a lot for so much support !
I do my best to cast several dolls again !!

29. Aw. I guess I can understand that, Enaibi.. I'm just glad you're letting us see the fruits of your labor! Don't feel rushed on our account.

30. Your dolls are so beautiful. I hope I'll be one of the lucky ones when you have a few for sale. :D I have a question about your sculpting process. Do you use styrofoam or foil cores in the head and body and then scoop them out when the clay dries?

31. they are incredible!! I'd love to be a lucky owner of one of your girls

32. I want to see more of your girls!!!!
*______________*

33. I would buy a kit too,
depending on the price ~>poor student D:

I wouldn't mind the sanding and all!

34. LOVE LOVE LOVE your girls!! youve really inspired me to plan on making my own!! thank you!

35. Thanks for support !!:aheartbea

If everything goes alright, I'll show you Naïade in resin next week-end, and I wish I could show you Tielle in resin some days after too.
I do my best !!!

36. I can't wait to see them!!

**hugs**

37. Hi Enaibi!
I just went through your web page and your work is fantastic! Even though I don`t read French I still had no issues finding my way around.

38. Webpage! There's a webpage?

39. I've got a web page, wrote in french, but it's not about dolls, it's about the comic I'd like to see edited one day !
Just click on my sign !

40. Thank you Enaibi. I really admire all of your artwork and can't wait to see what you cast next!

44. I've also been wondering if you are ever going to make dolls for sale. Please keep us posted! Your craftsmanship is exquisite :abow:

45. Wow... just wow....
I think Im gona have to start saving up in a special fund to be able to ninja one of these if you have another auction. These darlings are just too wonderful.
Whattaya say people! Start a Enaibi fund called "We want Enaibi resin beauties", and help her get started in this carrear because hun, these are abselutely stunning! I would sell a limb for a SD head of yours. :aheartbea

46. Even if a company did them and you were not crazy about the face up etc. the nice thing about these dolls is that can be removed and you can have them made up anyway you like! Pictures of these dolls just need to be sent to the "right" people:)

47. Enaibi do you ever want to produce them? Even in limited numbers?

48. Oh.... my gawd! O.O I'm breath taken! I am sooo in love! Oh my gosh... If you ever decide to sell or cast to sell please please send me a messge =D

And you work so fast -- I'm really impressed!

-- A (loving your girls as always! *beams*)

53. Ohhhh she's gorgeous!!!! I'm always in such AWE of your talent. You have such BEAUTIFUL dollies. :) Please continue to make more in the future! You have such a WONDERFUL talent!! ^_^ And such a LARGE fan base already! *giggles* ^_^

54. please consider selling these gorgeous dolls. You need to share your talent with the world!!!!!!!

55. Its amazing how you were able to dye the resin, how did you accomplish that. I heard that you could simply put dye into the resin mixture (dont know where i heard it though). Was that what you did?

56. Stunned again! :D So lovely. They really have a presence that is completely different from any other doll I've seen. I can't even put a finger on what it is about them, but they just -- glow! :) And I don't mean the gorgeous resin, either. They just radiate personality.

You are a marvel!

57. Oh I want one of each of those sisters! love them!

58. :fangirl: Love them! All of your dolls are gorgeous beyond all belief, Enaibi!

59. So Freaking Adorable!!!!!!!!!!!!

60. Hello. I just want to say that I really love your dolls, they are so beautiful. :thumbup It was hard to believe that you make them.
I am going to try make my own doll (in my own style and taste) with clay for a try. :sweat I can see that you make your prototype with air dry clar plastiroc. But I would like to know how do you cast them in resin. It would be nice if you can reply me :whee: if you don't mind. You can reply me in french if you prefer ( I can read french ^^). Thank you. And again: They are lovely.
